World Showcase, Vince.
You don't enjoy a leisurely stroll around there?
Stop and see the British Invasion in England. Get some amazing pastry in France. See who's performing in the American Gardens Theater. And then Illuminations. So nice.
that sounds nice. Maybe I'll do that on Saturday next week. :D Maybe Vince will come. :lookaroun

DS' laptop was due to arrive today, according to the Apple website. Sooo I waited basically all day for it - never being too far from the front door. I even dragged things up from the basement to sort, then dragged them back downstairs because I didn't want to miss them. Mind you, it's a very expensive laptop (mac Probook), and I had to sign for it to accept delivery (supposively). Well about 1/2 hour ago a neighbor came over with the package - she found it dropped off in her back yard, where apparently it's been all day. Fortunately she was honest enough to bring it over, and it didn't rain today. I just called FedEx to complain.

That's horrible!
If your neighbor was dishonest you may never have gotten it.
And it was in her backyard???? Do they normally deliver things to the backs of your houses?

OT: my parents sold their house. Some rapper bought it. No joke. He wrote the music to one of Beyonce's songs.

Were your parents impressed? :lookaroun

It's actually a neighbor that I barely know too. I must have thanked her 100 times!
I've never had a package left in the back yard ( Ginger would eat it anyway), but I have had them left on the back step. This was supposed to be signed for, which really bothers me that they never even asked for a signature. Anyone could have walked off with that!

What was their response to your call?

She's gotta do no such thing!

But Vince. . .pretty European and Asian girls! Off Kilter! Funnel cake!
Come on, you gotta go!

Maybe we could steal Vince's AP and go ourselves!

I'm ready! All this trying to convince Vince has me missing it!

 That is awful, Betty! I would make sure your complaint is heard by someone very high up.

Wow, cool!!

Actually. This happened to my mom a couple years ago. She'd ordered a bunch of Christmas gifts online. They delivered them, left them on the back porch :)shrug: ), and the dog ate through a bunch of the packages! Most of them were ok, but a couple were ruined...including, ironically enough, a book she'd gotten for my sister called "Why I Love Dogs".

So I just got off the phone with an Apple rep. He checked the tracking info that he has and the stupid Fedex driver even wrote down that he left the package in the back yard because there was no one there to sign for it.
He failed to mention that he left it at the wrong house!!!!:fork:
