:lol: I was sleeping in so I could gear up for my trip next week, where I definitely won't be sleeping in til 11. 10 maybe...on occasional days, but definitely not 11!

Hello! My folks are coming up in an hour or so for cake and ice-cream. :slurp: DH is mixing up the ice cream as I write, getting it ready for the ice cream freezer.

And yay for HP! You'll absolutely love it. It's a great book. I need to read it again since I read it kinda fast the first time.

I know -I read them fast I know, but I read books more than once quite a bit. Kind of like visiting old friends for me, y'know? And we just rented the first two films...watched Sorcerer's Stone last night. Loved the cast and the effects.
Yeah. It is like catching up with old friends when you re-read them. And I love the movies too. The cast really is spectacular. And I actually like seeing some of the older characters more. They have some of the best parts in the books I think sometimes. Especially people like Snape and Lucius Malfoy. They are actually my two favorite characters in the movies. I guess they are in the books too, as I picture these two characters now when I read the books.

Alan Rickman is brilliant as Snape. The first thing I ever saw him in was as the villian in 'Die Hard', and it was incredible.
