It was a great show. He was on first, talked for awhile and sang "What Goes Around".
Then Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson were on and sang "Because of You" together. They recorded that for Reba's "Duets" CD. (Did you know Kelly wrote that song when she was 16?!) Then Justin and Reba sang a song from her album that Justin wrote for her called "The Only Promise that Remains". So pretty!
He really is very talented. (and gorgeous) :lookaroun His Mom was in the audience and you can tell they have a good relationship. He says she keeps him grounded.

Yeah I've heard that they're really close. Oooo I love Reba. Saw her in concert in Orlando one of the summers I spent there. When does that CD come out? Must be soon if she was on Oprah performing songs from it. Kelly wrote that song when she was 16? :eek: I had no idea, wow....

The CD release date was yesterday. I like Reba too. She seems very down to earth.
I've always liked that song by Kelly and never knew till today that she wrote it. When she was on American Idol I don't think she ever mentioned that she wrote her own music.

Hmmm I don't remember her ever mentioning it on the show either.

I've been to alot of concerts, and have always said that Reba's was the best one I've ever been to. Unlike most, she actually sounded better in person. And was just so engaging!

I've never been a big fan of country, but there's something about Reba. You can't help but like her! I was a big fan of her TV show. . .funny!

OT: I saw the sweetest thing this afternoon. It was gorgeous out so I decided to go for a walk when I got home. I was on the way back and was walking past the hospital and saw 4 people (3 men and a woman) in the middle of the sidewalk jumping up and down flapping their arms...and just being silly. I thought..hmmm "odd".
Then I looked up at the hospital building and saw about 6 or 7 little noses pressed up to one of the windows laughing. It was such a simple yet sweet gesture those people stopping their walk to "entertain" the young patients looking out the window. I literally about lost it right there on the sidewalk. :o

Yeah I was never a fan of hers or country. I didn't even want to go to that concert, but my friends' girlfriend had just broken up w/ him and he had an extra ticket. :rolleyes:

Just finished 4 resumes to send out tomorrow. Nothing I completely qualify for, but I thought I would try anyways.
