I want to know after most of your experiences are done, what was the easiest things to pack? I know the uniform is almost always worn, but how much plain and dress clothes did you bring? Too much? Not enough? Emergency trip to WalMart not enough?

I know Im aiming for CS or PC (chatam square or Patterson court) because while I love people, VW may make me very irritable lol.

any thoughts? Tips you wanna pass on? Thanks for reading ^-^

Some things I have learned after my CPs are to not bring that much clothing. Like you said, you are in costume for the majority of the CP (and you can wash the clothing you do bring down). Here is an aprox. of what I did bring with me:
*2-3 pairs of pants (for me, sweatpants)
*a jacket (it can, and does, get cold in FL)
*5 pairs of shorts or so
*a couple pairs of capris
*I do bring a lot of t-shirts, so I can't really guess here
*about 2 pairs of dress pants
*3 pairs of dress shirts (if you plan on taking any classes, I would bring a little more for dress clothes)
*1 pair of dress shoes (flats for me)
*2-3 pairs of sneakers

For the apartments- I have stayed in both Chatham and Patterson. I liked both, but I don't think I would stay in Patterson again. Unless things have changed, the buses didn't stop at Patterson. The walk itself isn't that bad. But I didn't like doing it late at night, in the rain, or after shopping (and I did all 3, and it's not fun). So I will stay at Chatham again hopefully, should I be accepted for Fall 09.

I hope this helped.

It has! I dont mind walking. I have walked distances late at night in the frigid rain so walking to/from the bus stop isnt a problem for me.
Im only taking traditions i believe so yay. ther than that, how did it look inside chatam and patterson? Despite the location issue which seemed better?

I love Chatham. I've stayed there 3 times now, and I would love to stay there again if I am accepted for Fall 2009.

Despite the bus issue, Patterson was nice. The apartment was nice (though it felt a little bit smaller then Chatham). The pool was really nice, as was the workout room.

LOL, I just know I'm going to be asking this same exact question when it gets down to the FA time lol :D
No doubt. I think I might grab a digital camcorder and make videos of the most common things and important stuff to know when doing the CP

I'm on my way out right now, but I'll post some pics of the inside of our apt (Chatham) sometime tonight. As for clothes, I took WAY too much. I did use all of my jackets/sweatshirts/scarfs etc, but I'm an AZ wimp....

I just mailed my application and role checklist today. What roles did you apply for and which did you like the most? I really want to do character attendant. Has anyone done this role and what are the cons and pros of it? I have more questions but I'll wait untill these are answered first.

1) The roles I am picking are Character Attendant, Attractions, Photopass, and maybe Character Performer and FSFB. That is my order of choices too.

2) I have done Character Attendant before (and I am still seasonal there too). It is so much fun. I love it. I love getting to work in all 4 parks, and working with the different characters. The only con (for me) is closing off the lines, and telling people they can't see the character(s). If you have any other questions, I can try to answer them for you. :)

That just made my excitement to work at Disney increase :D So are u doing your interview by phone or in person? I need someone who has does the phone interview before so I can be prepared. What kind of questions to they ask you? What do I need to have with me for the interview?

This is my second time doing the online presentation (I also did it in 2006, because I was auditioning). Just a heads-up: 95% of interviews are now done over the phone.

The questions range from personal questions to questions about the roles you picked. I got 4 personal questions, 3 for character attendant, 2 for attractions, and 1 for Photopass.

I don't know. I was able to get it (and there were many CPs last summer in it too). Good luck! I hope you do. It is a great role. :)
