Amazing how many people don't realize how character ops works
Yes, you are right, it is amazing. My daughter is one of Snoopy's friends at King's Island. From what I have seen, I really think there should be Character Ops FAQ's on the Disney website or possible on the map? That way, we can educate the uneducated. We can right the wrongs! We can soar with the Eagles!!!

I loved the Peanuts characters at Kings Island. Also liked their show "Party in the Plaza". The opening number was the best.

You certainly have a way with words.

What else can you call a CP participant?, They are mandated to live 4 to a room in a company town i.e. Vista Way, About 1/3 of their meager pay is docked for rent. They live under draconian company rules with mandatory 'inspections' of their living quarters. Collective punishment is used i.e. If one of your roomates is caught with contraband ALL roomates are punished for the infraction.

I don't know what other term other than 'indentured servant' applies in this case.

People frequently comment on CPer's 'Poor Attitude' if YOU were forced to live like that what would YOUR attitude be like???.

Never a CP'er - DW and I do know a few though.

So pretty much DCP kids are taking over the fur positions. Cheaper than having face characters
CPs have always been allowed to be face characters.

Not accurate, but when are you ever?

They live two to a room and 4-6 to an apartment, which has (let me math) 2-3 bedrooms. If inspections are going on, as I have no clue if that's a thing now or not, it's more than likely to curb underage drinking, which was an epidemic 17 years ago and I would bet hasn't gotten better. Vista Way (also known as Vista Lay because of all the, I guess, draconian partying) is one of several apartment complexes CP live at.

About the only thing you've said right is that Disney does dock their checks for rent.

Why are you a liar?

Indeed, however the DCP is completely voluntary and if a CP is not enjoying it then they can leave at any time.

Every year I think about applying but the low wage for amount of work put in and the living arrangements and such don't appeal to me so I always back out. Disney advertises it as not thinking about the money but rather think of it as a once in a lifetime experience, but since I've been to WDW many times, obviously I've already experienced the best of WDW without having to slave away so won't be applying. I'd rather be the carefree guest.

No longer the case in many of the two bedroom apartments. Effective with the fall 2014 group, Disney now has up to THREE people in one room. Whereas before a 2 bedroom would have 4 people, it now has 6. And, also for the record, The Commons and Chatham Square complexes includes 4 bedroom living arrangements, which means up to 8 people in one apartment. He's not a liar in this instance.

That increase is unfortunate, but three to a bedroom is still less than 4 to a bedroom. Just like @ford91exploder is still a liar.

They'll squeeze another bunk bed in there before long

Awww, that's sad. I've only met her once as a child, and the experience was very magical for me. I'll miss you, Fairy Godmother!

I heard that the Fairy Godmother is actually getting cut as of next week, anyone else hear anything?

I'm not positive but I saw her in the MK last week so she's still there as of now as much as I know. However I only saw Anastasia and Drizella when they were out and no Lady Tremaine with them.
