Facial recognition at SSE

I just got off of spaceship earth, and they have installed a kiosK in the rear of the postshow area that will automatically recognize faces of guests who just got off of the ride. They are taking pictures of guests during the ride and then asking guests to step up to this kiosk to be recognized. They are testing it right now.

It seems that WDW is continuing their biometric trend as facial recognition goes hand in hand with the stations at the entrance to the parks. Very interesting. Incidentally, while casinos do have success with such programs several large police forces have moved away from this technology due to unsuccessful tests, so it is not so much "big brother" yet, but it is only a matter of time. I would love to hear updates on this as it continues.
