People, please, DON'T turn this into yet another "here are my thoughts on what they should replace Aerosmith with if they got rid of them!!1" because Aerosmith isn't leaving and nobody cares about your idea!

I think tarps now and then are better than dirty, faded paint. I do not see why Walt Disney World guests hate this so much. Things need maintenance.

Agreed, but I didn't think the guitar even looked bad at all. The courtyard itself, however, needs some work.

I think they should go for a fictional band. Sure it is not as cool to ride with a fictional band but there would be no shame in making them insanely funny and ridiculous. Go for spinal tap style without the raunchiness. Still display real music act memorabilia and posters in the queue to reinforce the G-force records theme but make the actual band fictional.

Not as marketable, but a better investment because it would not be easily dated as a real music act.

Don't know why but as soon as I read that Iron Weasal sprang to mind from I'm In The Band!

This was announced before Potter if I wasn't mistaken. The word on the street is they wanted a cheaper ride quicker than B&M could provide (who made the version of this at Universal Japan), so they went with the current manufacturer.

I do agree about that, and just noticed they are also hot linking from your host rather than linking to it, or hosting it themselves with proper citation.
(bandwidth leeching is a pet peeve of mine)

The facade came down a few weeks ago, and now the guitar has a shiny, polished look to it, more like a real guitar. Also, the tone of red is a bit darker than before.
