F&W: Don't put the word "beer" on your shirt...

bull. If I have a guest with the F word getting off my boat, I should have the ability to enforce the rule, especially the blatant ones. Many CMs don't care enough to call the managers, and that's the problem.
I can see both sides of the coin on this.

If every CM was conscientious enough to do so without offending, it would be no problem.

It's generally in the best interest of all involved for the front-line CM's to continue doing their jobs and let management take care of things like this.

I think we have the power to ask people to turn their shirts around for blatant inappropriate such a nakedness or curse words. We only have to call our managers if it is a borderline situation.

If you're naked and you turn your shirt inside out...aren't you still naked? :D

Naked or showing too much skin?

Would it be more skin than one would see at BB or TL?

I've seen several shirts with the outlines of naked women on them. One of them was on a young boy probably 10 or 11. Makes you wonder how mom and dad allowed it out of the house that time.

Isn't an outline of anything open to interpretation?

For example, this shirt caused quite a stir a few years back:

Several people saw this shirt as nothing short of ography.

You are equating these examples - vandalism and verbal abuse/threatening someone - to having the word "beer" on a shirt? And they are at the same level of being offensivness? Gotcha...

I am equating how easily people are offended at everything around them.... that people feel like they are entitiled to do whatever they want anywhere they want and this includes at WDW..... the "level" of offensiveness is not in even part of what I was saying...

I am thinking its the CM politely telling them no more. I was at the first day of the food and wine festival (first time ever do not see why its raved about) and one of the Mugs was giganticc. Maybe a pint and a half? If they had two each it could get them drunk. I drink out of that kind of glass at my local brewpub and two would get me drunk.

So if they only had 2 they could have been drunk.

2? lightweight!!! j/k

I can probably put away a good 4-5 of those souvenir mugs (for the record, each one of those mugs is a few ounces under 2 beers)....but I will be quite lit if I do so.

Nothing compares to this guy, however. A true master. When I spoke to him at last year's F&W, he was actually formulating complete sentences.....truly gifted:

Gifted would be an understatement.

Wow just found this thread... I'm ordering some awesome shirts later this month. I started a thread over in the general section. I wish I could link the design but I'm on an iPhone.

Check it out!
