Eyes on EPCOT Center

Now all we need is someone to create a similar thread for all the changes to the MK since the Haunted Mansion refurb called "Eyes on the Magic Kingdom".

If I was down there, I'd totally do it.

Personally I don't care either way. I don't mind the tarps at all, nor do I love them by any stretch of the imagination.

LaL is much, much worse than the tarps ever were/ever will be.

LaL is much, much worse than the tarps ever were/ever will be.

The tarps are similar to the wand. You really can't appreciate how bad it is until it's gone. Just as the wand had many indifferent people on these boards who now appreciate just how awesome SSE looks without it, so will it be with the tarps someday.

I know there are a few diehard "wandys" out there. No need to tell us you miss it.

I completely, completely disagree. The wand was a complete and utter blight on Spaceship Earth. There was no getting around it's ugliness.

The tarps really don't affect the view of SSE any where close to the level of the wand. The tarps are honestly barely noticeable compared to the wand.

You need to check out some before and after pics of communicore plaza mainly from behind the FoN towards SSE. The tarps are really bad. But yes, nowhere near as bad as the wand and stars.:hurl:

I find them very obtrusive upon the environment. Especially SSE.

Yes the cool avatar of SSE covered with LED's. Of course someday they could cover it with seemless OLED's and turn it into a giant spherical video screen. Imagine that! :dazzle:

No need to put anything on the outside if you want something like that avatar. Just put them on the inner shell.
