The guy in the pic is old enough, and he surely remembers the Ol' Days of Yore. He looks mighty dissapointed to see 'World of Motion' is long gone....and 'Test Crap'...er...'Track' is in it's place.
Someone needs to crop out JUST that face and make it into a new 'facepalm' icon for EPCOT fans here..or at least someone get bold and create a avatar outta it!!

Now, Pluto, what is wrong with The Land? Its be far the most cohesive pavilion at Epcot at the moment, for better or for worst. Sure, Soarin' could be better if it were rethemed with a new show, but even without that, I have no problem with the pavilion as it stands now. :shrug:

Yea the only beef I have with The Land is them getting rid of Food Rocks! I was there the last day it was in operation. The CM even told us we were watching the 2nd to last show before it would be gone.
But it's a good memory. I can still hear the faint sounds of Pita Gabriel singing "High Fiber".

Ah, I see. Understandable I suppose. I never experienced Food Rocks and I never really cared for The Land prior to its refurb. Loved LwtL, but the pavilion itself was kinda meh for me. I prefer the look of the current version; bit more modern and sleek looking. :shrug:

And a big thanks to Mr. Epcot keeping us up to date on the welcome changes around Epcot. Here's hoping these are some baby steps to some bigger changes (i.e.- SSE decent, JII, HISTA, etc.)

Me too, i thought the land actually fit better with food and what not now it kind of just looks like an airport, imo
