Is there anyone else more than a little ticked off that there's more advanced technology in that lounge than there is in the entire park?!
Seriously.

Hopeyfully, the park is going in this direction.

FYI The walls came down over night at Living with the Land. It's due to open on Sunday but just might be open this morning.

Sum of all Thrills just got it's sign put in last night as well as some vehicle swap-outs. Testing hasn't started yet but it's due to open Oct. 14th.

Also the new walls inside of both Innoventions now have glass panels with the logos on them of the different exhibits in the area.
wh00t for a early LWTL! :D

Can't wait to see it in Dec. Any idea of what they DID do?

I know!!! The application of the lighting and video... and after seeing those glass panel that can change from clear to frosted, I was thinking that the windows of Innoventions would look really cool if they could do that. Much more "futuristic" that plastic window clings. At the very least the entrance doors to Innoventions could do that. :dazzle:
They had those windows on the animation tour YEARS ago over at the studios.

It sure seems to me like they did something with the beamway there...

HAHA! I just noticed the "facepalm" guy at the bottom! :ROFLOL:

"Geez they only did ONE beam?!" *facepalm*

Looks good, hope they do it to the others.

TOTALLY!! :ROFLOL:

The guy in the pic is old enough, and he surely remembers the Ol' Days of Yore. He looks mighty dissapointed to see 'World of Motion' is long gone....and 'Test Crap'...er...'Track' is in it's place.

Someone needs to crop out JUST that face and make it into a new 'facepalm' icon for EPCOT fans here..or at least someone get bold and create a avatar outta it!!

Fab thread Mr. EPCOT. Nice to see my favourite Park getting yet more attention it deserves.

New avatar created. Entitled: "What Have They Done to You?"

Even though the wand is gone I felt the *facepalm* was warranted as well as the tombstones.

^ Awesome!

I feel you need to add the Land somewhere, though.....

^^It is a great avatar. Well done!

Now, Pluto, what is wrong with The Land? Its be far the most cohesive pavilion at Epcot at the moment, for better or for worst. Sure, Soarin' could be better if it were rethemed with a new show, but even without that, I have no problem with the pavilion as it stands now.

Yea the only beef I have with The Land is them getting rid of Food Rocks! I was there the last day it was in operation. The CM even told us we were watching the 2nd to last show before it would be gone.

But it's a good memory. I can still hear the faint sounds of Pita Gabriel singing "High Fiber". :(

That's about it, really. I guess I miss the country feel of The Land pre-2005.

Ah, I see. Understandable I suppose. I never experienced Food Rocks and I never really cared for The Land prior to its refurb. Loved LwtL, but the pavilion itself was kinda meh for me. I prefer the look of the current version; bit more modern and sleek looking.

Don't worry, you're not the only one.

It's okay as it is now, but was just a lot more pleasant before.
