Hi, I am planning for my WDW Trip March 22-29th, Thank you Buy 4 get 3 free deal! Anyways I was checking the calender and it says on March 22nd Magic Kingdom is open until 11pm, but it also has evening Magic Hours that night, that would make it open until 2 am, Is there anyway this is correct, or is this a typo ? That seems late, even for Disney!

For evening EMH you add 3 hours ONTO the published closing time. If the MK closes at 11pm then EMH run from 11pm until 2 am. Note that not everything may be open the entire time, some rides, shops & restaurants close early.

If thats what Disneys website said then yes it is correct. Since that is the end of March and the busy Spring Break season it seems exactly right.

I can confirm that MK does indeed have EMH until 1, 2 or even 3 from time to time. If that's what the website says, I'm sure that is the plan.

Thanks for your replies!

Ive gone to Disneyland every year, sometimes twice a year. I am not used to Disney being open past 1am. So i thought it was odd. Thanks AGAIN!

evening extra magic hours

can you enter the park after its regular closing time if it has extra magic hours that night? ex. if magic kingdom closes at 8, can you show up at 9 and still get into the park to enjoy the extra magic hours? thanks

As long as you are eligible (i.e., staying on-property), no problem.

When I was there this summer I had the opportunity to stay in the MK until 3am. There are good and bad to this though...If the park has to be open until 2 that means it is going to be very crowded during the day. However, if you can make it until 2 am the parks are nice, empty, and peaceful. As crazy as it was the first week of august when I was there, I was able to ride Splash Mountain 3 times in a row without getting off at 2am.

2 Christmases ago my Fiance and I went to the MK at 3am... they were open til 2am for all guests with EMH's til 5am... That was a fun morning!!! our DME bus was leaving at 9am, so we took a nap before we went to the park, and then went back and slept for a few hours before leaving the World!
