Also remember you can get most of this stuff for free (sometimes better quality :D ) at Disney Central!

I just went to DisneyCentral.com and they don't have anything like what extinct attactions club has, they dont even have any DVDs at all, just some shirts and mugs. Is there some other Disney Central you are talking about? Maybe Im missing something

My mistake - Disney Central is the generic term (Disney-Central IRC) - Dolby  gave the thread that has the `how to` info. I provided Extinct Attractions with a lot of the footage they use, and have since edited my own tribute videos for free at Disney Central IRC (and these are more than just a home video ride thru):

Splash Mountain
Tomorrowland 71-94
Alien Encounter
Timekeeper
CoP (Now is the Time)
If You Had Wings/Dreamflight
Fantasy in the Sky 1990
Fantasy in the Sky 2001
Spaceship Earth `86 and Communnicore
Spaceship Earth `94 and Innoventions
Futureworld 90
UoE (Original)
Bodywars
Horizons
World of Motion
Test Track
Journey into Imagination and Imageworks
Listen to the Land
Kitchen Kabaret
Food Rocks
The Living Seas 1990
Illumuinations 1990
RoE
Mexico
China
Norway
The American Adventure 1982/94
Canada
Tapestry of Nations
The History of Disney-MGM Studios (2 parts)
ToT
Star Tours
Fanatsmic!
Fantasmic! Highlights
Sorcery in the Sky
Dinosaur
DLP Video guide (3 parts; 3 hours)
TDL Splash Mountain
TDL Dreamlights
TDL Starlight Magic
TDL Blazing Rhythms
TDL DisneySea Symphony
TDL BraviSeamo!

... phew! In all, 11.8 gigs worth of media. More info in the link in my signiture.

And I`m only one contributor to Disney Central.

Well I found a message about disney central IRC. Seems a little crazy just to get the videos, there must be an easier way of doing it rather than downloading all these other programs and such. I guess I'll just be sticking with the extinct attractions clubs DVDs. much easier to figure that site out.

you have two options with disney-central

1. go for irc:

more than 150 gigs of data which is the single largest private non commercial source for disney media
but for the "cost" of a little irc knowlage .. what we are happy to give you once you entered the channel

2. go for bittorrent:

around 50 gigs of data .. you just have to click and download (first you have to install a bittorrent client .. but this is a piece of cake) but your line will be used by the bittorrent program as a p2p node so you upload yourself aswell .. but we have no minimum share so it's not a problem to share not that much...

and there were many that though as you did .. but as soon as they discovered disney-central they couldn't stop downloading .. it's addictive

I have a number of their CD's and Dave does an incredible job with them! The production value, as well as content allow for repeat viewiings whenever I think bad to the "good old days" of WDW.

My highest recommendation!!! :)

It's still having shipping problems. I spent lots of money but didn't get everything I ordered, only some items, and some items were missing labels of any kind. E-mailed the company--and was told they'd take care of it. Four months later, nothing! I called again. They said they'd take care of it. A week later, the wrong DVDs arrive. When I contacted them for the THIRD time, by phone, the guy who answered took no responsibility and was really snotty--as if it were my fault his company hadn't completed my order in nearly six months. There has still been no resolution after six months. I enjoy some of the old park footage, but the unprofessionalism isn't worth it. :hammer: Buyer beware.
