Extending your payment due date?

Has anyone had any experience with this? I have had some things come up and need some more time past my July 31st payment due date for my vacation. I can't call them now and ask because I am in meetings so I figured I would ask the real experts while I am "working"

You have basically have two options:

1st Disney will give you until 30 days before your arrival date before they “cancel” your reservation. So you have a few days after to make the final due date to make the final payment. They will send you an email before canceling and if you still don’t have the funds call them and you may want to look at the second option.​

2nd option is to change your package to reduce the price. Something like change the dinning plan. Do not reduce the # days!!! You should be able to re-add the option you removed at a later date to your package. Just make sure to re-add it 3 weeks prior to arrival or you will be charged $50.00 for the change plus the fee for the items you are adding.

How crazy I just had to deal with this too! I had a death in the family and needed a couple more weeks. When I called they told me I actually had until 30 days to vacation to pay it off.I called like sometime the beginning of may and we leave for vaca on june 29th i had til may 29 to pay. hope that helps. she also said that after the 30 day cut off they start cancelling
