Agreed. Especially since as of last year it was known to be in an operating state. It’s more about the costs of running it and upkeep than anything.

But, who knows, maybe the IDRs in Hollywood and Beijing can finally make them actually spend time and money into it, and Bob can realize that it would “yield to shareholders” if they did it

The rollercoaster will be closed from January 4 2022 until mid-April 2022. Unfortunately the closure will not see any improvements to the show, or a repair of the Yeti animatronic figure. Work will take place on the ride control system.

Guaranteed with Chapek, this is a must do refurb, as you know he is not spending any money if he does not have a gun to his head by maintenance. He won't even comb the Yeti's hair cause he is so jealous of the hair growth!

This is the ride’s first returb. I’d be shocked if they didn’t at least address some show elements.
