I've always wanted to be on ToT when it's raining hard to add to the effect. Kind of weird to wish for rain in Disney, huh?

I think Everest getting struck by ligthning is interesting. Thanks for the info.

lightning actually struck kali that evening, not everest. they are on the same power grid, though, so everest was affected. everest did come back up at 9:50, but they didn't cut the line until guests stopped coming to the attraction around 10:20. kali didn't reopen that evening.
