My wife and I were at MK a week ago and everything was working on Splash Mountain. First time we had seen it at 100% in a long time.

The steam, waterfalls, and now the bird are literally almost always working.
The steam is rarely not working or is shut off on hot days for making the station too hot.

Yea i am pretty sure I just missed the bird. Overall the ride looked great.

We rode EE on the 21st (3x) and the 26th (2x) and everything was working each time (with the exception of the Yeti). Steam was there at load, both waterfalls were on and we saw the bird each ride.
On the 21st, 4 of us each thought the Yeti had movement in the hand/wrist........definitive movement. I understand the strobe effect is intended for that purpose but all of us saw the same movement. On the 26th however, there was definitely no movement whatsoever. The lighting appeared different as well.
I guess we could be wrong but .......

Really? I heard from my Uncle, who rode EE on Monday, and he said that the Yeti is still frozen. However, he claims that there is VERY SMALL AMOUNTS regular light on the yeti. Off topic, but did the Yeti's mouth ever open and close? In the Discovery show, I think his mouth moved

If the yeti is still under strobe lighting, then no, it did not move. The whole point of the strobes is to mask the fact that it is not moving. They woun't bother to animate just the hand and then also still leave it under strobe lighting!

The strobe light wasn't in effect on Sunday but was back on Friday so.....

Was the yeti well lit without the strobe light? In A mode, it was well lit so animation would be obvious. If it was still dim or dark, the strobe light(s) were messed up which sadly happens often.

It was very well lit without the strobe. So much so in fact I was shocked. It was the first time I've seen it that lit up since 2007. I almost think there was too much light....lol

Just to add my $0.02 from Sunday, 10/5:
Steam and both waterfalls were working, but no bird from what I saw, though we were seated in the first row so that may have blocked my view of it. Yeti was strobing, though he was pretty dark - could barely make him out until we were directly under him.

It has been working every day since it was fixed months ago. And how the steam and waterfalls work basically every day also...
Meanwhile!
*animatronics consistently immobile on Splash Mountain*
*Blackbeard projection and mermaids continue to be blurry and intermittent on Pirates*
*burnt out lighting and poorly implemented audio upgrade on Space Mountain continues to exist*
*Stitch's Great Escape consistently operating with only one animatronic cannon and most theater effects broken* (not that anyone cares about this one)
*Mission: Space audio continues to cut in and out and video screens continue to be tinted, washed out, and/or cut in and out. gravity wheel still does not move*
*Ellen's Energy Adventure continues to operate with nearly every single effect shut off or broken, terrible looking projectors, etc*
*Soarin' film still looks grainy, dirty, and faded*
*Angler fish in The Seas with Nemo and friends still immoble*
*Tower of Terror continues to have too-quiet and out-of-sync audio*
*"photo" Carno in Dinosaur frequently out (plus all the other noted broken or missing effects)*
*Kali River Rapids continues to operate with most effects disabled*
etc...
But the bird on the stick and steam is what everyone cares to post about continuously... I don't get it.

I agree with everything but one statement... It's drives me crazy the canon in stitch's great escape has been down so long... (I know this makes me uncool on these forums but I like the character stitch.) although like 99% of the population I hated seeing alien encounter go!

Yes, I don't know if two are broke (one in each) but the last few times I had been there, one arm wasn't working (could have been same theater both times, I honestly don't remember that detail).
Any Yeti motion? What's V2 Bird on Stick?

I know I've mentioned it in this thread before, but the steam on Everest is rarely actually broken, but is often shut off intentionally because it can make the station even hotter on very hot and humid days. If you see it on a cold day it looks awesome because a massive cloud emerges from the train.
