Expedition Everest Bird

The Duck

The "Bird on a Stick" is gone now. It was a large bird (eagle perhaps?) that once stuck out from the peak of EE. You would see it when you hit the dead end right before you began going backwards. It was a simple effect and didn't do much but sit there but it gave the illusion that it was hovering right above.

It was there last June but I haven't seen it since. Basically its a bird (hawk, eagle, owl?) with it wings extended on a stick. There is also audio of it screeching. When the train stops at the broken track, the bird on a stick appears, then goes back behind the mountain as the train descends.

It is really poorly done and kind of takes away from the anticipation caused by just sitting there in silence before the drop.

Would have been better to have had a yeti animatronic appear. Then it would have created a sensation of being chased.
