I know everyone here just loves the Adventurer's Club !!! I've been to the world five times and have never been. :hammer: I see in late September all of the clubs in PI are closing. I'll be in the World from 9/7 - 9/14 and want to visit the Adventurer's Club and have a few questions:

What goes on at the Adventurer's Club anyway ??

Are children able to visit ???

What is "KUNGALOOSH" ???? !!!

THANKS ALOT TO EVERYONE..

Must be top secret since there aren't any replies!!

For me at least, it's hard to reply to this thread (I've tried 3 times and nothing sounds right) because AC is really hard to describe. It's an experience.

Picture an old english gentleman's club where they are telling stories of their adventures Disney Style, with talking wall masks, ect. It's set up so there are rooms off of the main gathering area, and as each adventurer is going to start a story, it is announced and most move into a certain room to hear it.

Children are welcome I believe, but the humor is a bit racey. Most if it would probably go over a child's head. I'm not sure if there is a limit on age though, as I've never had to worry about that.

All I can do is recommend it. You'll understand Kungaloosh after you've been there. You won't be disappointed if you go. In fact, I would be surprised if you only went once after you've been there, lol.

Unlike most of the folks here, my wife and I HATED the Adventurer's Club. It was a total waste of time and money.

Our dislike could be for many reasons, but I figure it comes down to 2:

1.) There is such a positive spin by everyone who loves the AC that our expectations were unfairly raised....

2.) I promised long ago I would not discuss reason number 2......

To answer your question, the AC is a highly themed, multi-room facility with some interesting decor. The cast puts on stage shows and has improv-like banter with club goers. They have a bar. There are people in the AC who REALLY love the AC. This is the best description I can give without revealing reason No. 2 above....

Although it might seem exciting by reading all of the positive reviews, I'd save your cash and spend it on something a bit more worthwhile....like a case of Beverly.

Hope this helps...

I had been to Advernturer's Club a few times before and never understood what was going on with the puppets etc but realized after reading the threads here that I needed to stick around a little longer. Too bad I won't be back before it closes.

Also is it Monty Python type humor?

The AC or PI for that matter is/was a place for adults to go after the parks had closed and the adults needed some grown up time. Sadly, from now on when the parks close, you are to be confined to your room with a piece of tape over the opening so mousekeeping knows if you've been naughty.(again)

RIP AC my favorite thing to do:cry:
