I know we've discussed Mr. Toad and Winnie the Pooh from here until doom's day, but I just found out that Pooh has claimed another victim. I had no idea that the new Winnie the Pooh ride in Disneyland took Country Bear's place. What is up with this? I'm so sick of Pooh taking other rides I could scream. Well, I'm off to therapy. Later.

Since1976 you are absolutely correct. It was in a bit of a slump for a long time. So they trashed it. And to SpectroMan. Love the avatar. Brings back good memories.

Well I don't hate Pooh attraction-wise since I've never ridden Mr. Toads Wild Ride or seen CBJ! But I'm sick of seeing him everywhere! Mickey should take his place! :D

Didi you know they built DLCs CBJ since Floridas was so popular? Thinking the same ammount of people would come, they built 2 show theatres, but the crowds didn`t happen, so only one theatre was used. Talk about a waste!

The really sad part is Pooh pulls in less then CBJ. All they had to do for CBJ was to create a new show. But animatronics take work. Cheap cheesy effects don't.

And the Christmas CBJ was a full house most of the time.

During Spring Break, all the rides on that side of the park had 45-120 stand by. Pooh - 20 mins.

I loved the Bears and I can even handle them being replaced. But it went from a 'D' ticket to a 'B' type attraction. The kind you only do of you are really bored.

10 bucks at Wal-Mart, and well worth it my friend..

The Pooh ride at Disneyland looks 10 times better than WDW's..It goes outside and everything...I would have rather seen CBJ go, then Pooh..Grizz is going to have my head for that.

I thought DLCs Pooh was outside just for load/unload? If thats the case, then technically so is WDWs - just undercover. Besides, neither of them come anywhere close to TDLs version (how often have we heard that??)

I dont completely think this was bad, however they could have changed Pooh a bit to make it more unique, that way people would have a better reason for visiting it.

CBJ was atrocious when I was at the parks last. The audio is so muddled. It sounds like it's being play of a record. It's a relic... and not a very good one.

Boys, I think it's hunting season, and I've got a license for bear!

I'm sorry Jack, but I absolutely HATE Country Bears Jamboree. I know, I know, I know. You love that attraction. But I just found it so absolutely creepy and just insulting. At least that's just my take. I know everyone else feels otherwise. On my last trip to DL I was very happy to see it gone.

Hey man that is fine. I know people who wanted to take it out with flamethrowers. Ok not really, but some people love it and some hate it. Kinda like fruitcake. But we are friends, so its fine.
