Well everyone...I am the proud new owner of a house! The closing went very well, I wasn't even nervous signing my life away! :lol:

Now the real work begins. I get to paint this weekend for the first time ever. This should be an adventure. :lookaroun Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Just got back from some last second shopping (who knew Canned Chipotle Peppers in Adobo sauce was so hard ot find!) And it was a MAD HOUSE out there... I nearly got run over three times on the way back to the car - which was parked in Outer Mongolia.

Yay! Pie! I'm just going to Marc's parents' house, which is 5 minutes away... so to all of those who are really traveling, be safe!

I'm here now...:wave: Laundry is about done, but I'll probably be up late with packing. I also have baking to do - I'm making frosted brownies for my folks' Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. This is all your fault, Bunny, ever since you posted that pic of a brownie :slurp:! I'm also baking blueberry muffins as a breakfast option on our trip. OK, now my mouth is watering...:lol:
