Nope.
I have gone Black Friday shopping in the past, and I must admit you can get some fabulous deals! But I don't buy that many gifts anymore, so I don't find it necessary to join in the hysteria. Usually I decorate our house on Black Friday, but, because I really could use a day of rest this week, George and I are taking a ride to Cape May, NJ. I am so looking forward to doing nothing! It's been a hectic week!
And you, Fishy. . .what do you have planned for today?
Cape May!
I love it there!
Go to the Zoo!
Its free!
At times I sustitute another word for "kidding".... :o
That works, too.

Good morning, Freddy!
How was your Thanksgiving?
Morning Dot (and now, officially, Betty)!
My Thanksgiving was good. Quiet. But good.
There were just four of us.
My parents, our former next door neighbor, and myself.
She's a librarian, so it always makes for very nice conversation!

I'm staying home, maybe going out to lunch with DD while she's home, but I'm not sure that I'm up for that yet.
Dave is in Connecticut today working on my nephew's basement, and DS has a gig tonight with the band.
I got out the Christmas dishes today, and I'll probably do a little decorating today, and possibly work on the calendar for MIL this afternoon.

I love Cape May! We used to stop there and take the ferry when we'd go to Chincoteauge.

I would start decorating, but I have soooo much cleaning to do.
With being out 6 nights in a row with that stupid float, things have kind of caught up with me.
This computer desk is a MESS.
I'm trying to talk my mom into going to the mall with me.
I've never gone on BF, and would reallllly love to see what its like. :lookaroun

I love just walking around there! Don't know what it's like on Black Friday, but even if we just go for the ride and stay in the car, I'll be happy.
I think that some of the shops there are seasonal, so they might not even be open! My kind of shopping!!!!

It's probably unlike anything you've ever seen. :lookaroun
Seriously, you can drive around a parking lot for hours, just waiting for a spot to open up. But . . .there are bargains.

Did you guys have the lovely weather that we had yesterday? I think that's part of why I felt so lousy. We usually take a walk after Thanksgiving dinner, but there was no way we could yesterday!

I wouldn't imagine it to be very busy.

I think most of the shops are open year round, although some are seasonal. I wouldn't think they'd draw in Black Friday shoppers, but you never know. I'm not going for the shopping anyway. . .just the ride, and maybe a nice walk.

Horrendous!
When the kids were leaving here last night it was pouring!! I hated to see them go out in that!

Yes!
Yesterday was horrendous!
The annual Thanksgiving Day football game against our rival town was delayed until tomorrow!

Ours were delayed too, but some schools in the state had them anyway. I'm not sure how they could play in that weather - it was raining so hard and soooo windy!

Dave picked up MIL from the nursing home, and it was quite an ordeal getting her in and out of the house.
