I was thinking... Will Everest's mountain be constructed like the other mountains, with steel mesh, and have cement plastered ontop?

LOL HAHAHAHA  :hammer:  Thats a good one.....whatever is safe and efficient for them to build. MAYBE whatever is faster.......but not making it crappy like DINO-RAMA.......I want this open now...lol...but the process for great rides is slow and i guess we all are going to wait for the next big thing at AK and WDW

I don't see why they would ever change from the way they have made facades in the past. They seem to hold up well, aside from painting needs. Depending on the inside structure of the ride, I could see them building a huge show building (warehouse style) and making a mt around that.

They could do it out of styrofoam. I heard that IOA was made from styrofoam....

They won't, not that kind of forming.

Suess Landing was made out of styrofoam. Not all of IOA.

You'd need a special styrofoam. The standard stuff doesn't hold up too well... and dissolves very easily under chemicals.

I think its like highly compacted styrofoam. Like they spray it then file down and spray more and keep doing that till you get a hard compacted model made out of stryrofoam

You would probably need a metal super soaker, since that would dissolve too.

I bet it would work. I've used it in theatrical set design to give surfaces a textured look... although overly liberal applications in a few spots effectively made the set go bye-bye.

Also the vapors would probably kill all of the guests... just a couple of problems.

But next time you're there... armed with harsh solvents... let me know how it goes
