My copyright class was last semester! ARRRRGH! Let it end!!! (just kidding - actually doing that type of work and did pretty well in it, but I will reserve the legal language for now).

Anyway, Thanks for the update! Map looks great. It really fleshes out that side. I always thought that DAK looked sort of hourglass-like with the top and bottom fleshed out. Now the right side is full.
Now... if only there would be a couple larger areas to the left...:lookaroun

Magicot the fact that you would even bring that up boggles my mind. YOU are the one that started this thread and wanted to post it so that everyone could share it. I went ahead and posted it since you were not able to and now you decide you want to complain about the fact that I posted it. Make up your mind! BUT if you would like to get into the legal babble. YES it is a copyrighted Disney item. However, as everyone on this site knows, all Disney maps are made available to the public, therefore what I did is not copyright infringement because I did not claim it as my own. Bottom line, don't complain about the copyright thing when you were trying to do the same thing but were not able to figure it out. Hope everyone continues to enjoy the new map. :wave:

Jeeez, someone sure is having a hissy fit.:lookaroun I was simply asking a question about copyright laws and how they are viewed on WDWmagic.com. I'm trying to set up a photo album and was wondering if putting a big picture of the map in it would be ok. I almost did until I saw that statement and wasn't sure if it was acceptable. I appreciate your reply on the matter however you do seem kind of hot-headed. I hope you've cooled off by now. Remember, I wasn't complaining, I was asking if it was ok to do such a thing- big difference. Have a good night and everybody enjoy the map that I posted! :animwink:

Copyrighted materials are protected from people using them "for profit". So long as you don't charge people to view them and acknowledge the copyright in order that people know and don't copy it for their own "for profit" use, you're ok.
