Everest Noise and Animals

Just a thought.... With so much attention payed to the welfare of the animals with regard to noise, how would Everest effect the animals. It has been published that randomizing technology was even developed for the park music to avoid repetition with the animals in mind. A new coaster (even if some parts are in the mountain), will most likely create a lot of noise. Any thoughts?

Actually about 85% of the ride is in the mountain, so noise should be negligible.
Certainly no more noise than the animals at Busch Gardens have to deal with.

Where is E:E going to finally be built?? Because if its built near the river and close to the bridge that is rumored (to be built) and will go from Asia to Dinoland it shouldn't bother many animals. Besides like Lee said, most of the ride is inside the mountain. Just my opinion.

Its similar to the Matterhorn. When I was recently at DL, I noticed that you had to get up close to the Matterhorn to get the most noise of the roller coaster, people screaming, and Abonidable snow man yells. An it wasn't to loud or anything.

True, but this looks to be much more massive than the Mattehorrn!

I wouldn't worry about the noise the coaster will make. They do things perfectly so it won't affect the animals. They are even able to have fireworks in the park without scaring the animals (they did it for the Dino Rama pin event).

Honestly, these are not wild animals, and many of them have been at the park for years, now, so they are pretty used to all of the humans in the park. With many of the animals' hearing capabilities, they can already hear guests scream from Kali River Rapids, and don't seem to care. Disney takes the best possible care of all of the animals, and as Evan said, they hear fireworks all the time--from the other parks (my dog can hear thunder about 10 minutes before I can...many of the animals have excellent hearing because most of them are either predators or prey in the wild, and need to hear the most minute sound to find a meal or escape being one). With the size of the enclosures these animals have, the lack of any predation whatsoever, and the great food they get (it's honestly better quality than you get at the Disney restaurants), they are content, which is apparent in the African elephants--it is very tough to get an elephant pregnant by artificial insemination in zoos, let alone by natural means; they are clearly happy.

The animals will be fine.....I agree that they are no longer "wild" so they are problably used to a lot more than we think.
