Do you approach the main drop going slow or is the train already moving pretty quick when it gets there?

The main drop comes directly after the second complete stop and switchtrack...

From the projection cave [where you're at a full stop], you travel a short distance to the drop. At the front of the train, you're not going fast at the top. At the back of the train, you're going pretty fast...

From the front of the train it's pretty un-nerving cresting that drop, it's one heck of a view. At the back, you're really going fast and that's pretty un-nerving in a different, but equally thrilling way!

The first time I went on EE I didn't know the drop was coming. You are at a stand still and you can actually see the tracks switch depending on where you are sitting but you can't see the drop because there is fog. All of a sudden you kind of take off and before you even think about it you are hurdling down the hill. It isn't bad, I am a chicken and even I could handle it.

Questions for any Everest riders:

If you've been on Splash Mountain, which drop feels easier to handle?

If you've been on Big Thunder Mountain, which one jerks you around more?

What happens when inside the mountain (all parts)?

Are there dips/drops during the backwards part?

How many stomach-tossing dips are there?

What happens when inside the mountain (all parts)? It's dark, beats me :lookaroun

How many stomach-tossing dips are there? My stomach didn't toss, so none

Answers inserted... In fairness, it's a smooth ride, the drop is steeper and longer than Splash, but less intense IMO. It is a fun ride, I would say try it, there's certainly nothing really negative that I can think of.

The drop on EE is definately easier to handle. One because you cannot see it before you hurdle down it and two there is no anxiety provoking click click click up the hill before you plummet. EE is not jerky AT ALL, it is very smooth so BTMRR is much jerkier (is that a word?) The first time you are in the dark is when you are going backwards, there are no dips when you are going backwards but you can feel yourself going up a hill. It is realy intense. Then before you drop you are at a standstill watching a projection of the Yeti tearing up the tracks. Then you go down the hill back up into the Mountain and shortly after you see the Yeti for two seconds and then thats it.
No stomach-tossing dips. As I posted before by the time you realize you are dropping it is already over. Very smooth.
