Ever pay less than rack rate for Deluxe Room??

Does anyone know if discounts ever come out for Club Level Rooms, specifically Deluxe Rooms at the Wilderness Lodge?

I'm wondering if it would be worth it to use a travel agent when booking our upcoming trip. The quote they gave me was the exact amount quoted on the WDW website. Staying on Club Level, Disney would already make ADR's for you, so are there any other advantages to using a travel agent?

I have heard that agents will watch for discounts for you, but do discounts ever come out for Club Level rooms? We're hoping to go in early December 2009.

They do! There's discounts for club level rooms in the discounts that were just released for the summer.

Agencies like Kingdom Konsultants do not charge any fees, and will watch the discounts for you. We switch you over as soon as we see a discount that works for you. Usually before you even see the discount, you'll get an email from us saying we found a better rate for you.:)

Yes, discounts can be applied to club level reservations. We are staying at the WL club level this December 17-26 and received 40% off rack rate. Right now the only December discounts are through pins (directly offered to specific guests) or bounceback rates. When December discounts are offered, you (or a TA) can call Disney and see if your reservation qualifies for the discount. If you choose to use a TA, I highly recommend Kingdom Konsultants, who are sponsors here on this site. They will diligently check for and then apply any discount that may come out for your reservation, if it is available for your dates and room type. Good luck!
