I was on the Buzz Lightyear ride, i had my little back pack with stuff like money, water, etc. When i exit the ride i then realize i left my back pack there, so i went there to see if its still there and thank goodness a cm had it, i was happy that i didnt lose it in the ride.

Back in the 70's, I lost a camera on Space Mountain. I reported it lost when we got off and it was mailed to me about a week later.

Yea, about 2 1/2 months ago I lost my Nikkon Coolpix digital camera on Mission: Space. I left it in the bin. The upsetting thing about it is that I realized I forgot right when I hit the exit, so I went back and when the ride after us ended, someone had already stolen it, I mean 1 ride, that's the biggest thing that sucked about it. But I like my new camera better. :p

I lost my favorite hat EVER on TGMR. I lost it at the bubble scene. I had leaned backwards (on the back row) and it slip right off. I cried the rest of the way through. We told a CM and the stopped and got it for me.

It seems like the CM's always save the day.

I have never lost anything really valuable, but I have lost hats, glasses and such. I've left many things behind, including souvenirs and my nalgene bottle. My uncle lost his camera and hat all at once on the Matterhorn.

This didnt happen at WDW, but my stepdad lost his cell phone while riding Top Gun at Carowinds. He wasnt able to recover it... but they do tell you to make sure their isnt anything in your pockets before you ride... :hammer:

Only thing I've ever lost on a ride (besides my lunch) was my WDWMAGIC button last year on the safari in DAK... the first thing we did on our first day there so I didn't have it for the meet. :(

When my cousin was about 10 her shoe fell off while getting on POTC, we were staying off property then and had no time to go back and get her another shoe. She spent the rest of the day sitting in a carriage with a plastic bag on her foot!

Lost & Found

I've lost my share of sunglasses in parks and rides to numerous to mention. The one time it did matter to me was about 3 years ago when I lost a purple cap with a black bill that said Walt Disney World on it with Walt and World in blue and Disney in rainbow colors. Flew right off my head as I was hanging on for dead life on Primeavil Whirl. I checked with Guest Relations and they called back to the ride for me. This was at park close and the lead CM walked the track (or more like under it) and found the cap and ran it up to Guest Relations. Not a big deal for a cap but it was the one tradition I had when going to WDW. I wore that cap. As far as I know it isnt' made any more. Didn't really mean anything to anyone but me. Can I say enough about how CMs will go out of their way for guests! :sohappy:

My friend dropped his wallet on Kali River Rapids. Didn't realize it till he got off. He ran back and luckily it was still in the raft.

Also when I was 5, at the Orlando airport, I went to the bathroom and left my Simba stuffed animal there. When I went back it was gone. One of the most traumatizing experiences of my life. :(

WHen I was a kid, my father lost a battery pack on Space Mountain and didn't know it until later that evening. He went to Guest Services at MK before we left and they had it there.

About two years ago I was having lunch at the Sci Fi Dine In Theater and decided to put y new pins on my lanyard. I had about 15 pins on it at the time. Well my meal came and i put the pins next to me in the car. It wasnt until about 2 hrs later during the Mushu seghment of the world of animation that i realized it was gone. I went back to the Sci Fi ine in Theater and the fanatastic cm,s had my pins waiting for me. What a relief.

my girlfriend lost her mouse ears on RNR. Right at the end when your getting off and the ride harness lits up. Knocked her ears off and they fell into the track. CM said they couldn't get it out of there till the end of the day so we just went without.
