Ever found something at disney that really blew your mind?

About a month ago, my fiancee and I rode CoP (Because I got freaked out that it was closing from reading these boards) and I noticed something in the final scene that blew my mind. On the whiteboard in the kitchen it says B- Call Tim and Anna. Now that means nothing to most people, but that is mine and my fiancees names! It was like Walt Disney from the grave ( or Discovery Island) telling me that I had truly met the person I was intended to be with. Anyone have any other stories of synchronicity?

Awww I love that!

We had that "whoa!" moment when we discovered the ghost holding a Mickey head in the graveyard scene on Haunted Mansion. And we definitely have had more moments that I can't quite recall at this early hour, but we've had many moments where we've said "we've been here HOW MANY TIMES and never noticed that?!?!"

That's awesome! I had a very similar Walt moment but it took place from a YouTube video. I was taking a break at work looking at random Disney videos and saw one that is now believed to be Walt's last...he was discussing The Happiest Millionaire, among other things. It starts about 2:55 into the following video (names start around 3:55) ...



I share a last name with the characters in the movie...and since it's not a super common last name (and not a movie I've seen), it was just mind blowing to hear Walt say my last name...several times. Then when it hit me that this is considered his last footage and this was the last film he was involved in, it was just one big WOW!!! to me.

My folks took me to Disney World when I was 10 or 11. For some reason, I always remembered riding the Haunted Mansion with my Mom. I remember her pointing out the floating candelabra and the dueling ghosts. I took my Mom down to WDW with my family last year. Thirty years later, when i rode the Haunted Mansion with her, she pointed out the same two things, just as she did when I was 10 or 11. Not sure if that is syncronicity or not but it was pretty cool

I've never officially seen it at WDW (that I can remember), but I was shocked when I found out there was another entrance to DHS! I had always gone in the back way. When I saw on Google Maps that there was another one I was blown away! I did always think it was weird that DHS only had two lanes to get into the parking lot, though...

Yeah...the non-parent who let her feral daughter climb all over the scenery in the queue for TSMM while she gabbed with her own mother...this kid totally trashed everything!!! Usually I just blow these things off but this was seriously over the top on lack of parenting...*check that* lack of consideration.

Other than that I would say when a CM (Nathan) took us on a personal tour of PotC in a boat of our own...that guy needs some serious kudos!!!

Actually along these lines I bumped into a customer and friend of mine in the shops along Mainstreet USA after Wishes one night. Neither of us knew we were in Disney at the same time and I heard my name from across the store...then the exact same thing happened with the same guy at Knoebels amusement park two years later...it is either awesome coincidence or I have a stalker...hmmmm:eek:

I would say meeting Cito Gaston in 2002 at the parks. For those that don't know, Cito Gaston was the manager of the Toronto Blue Jays when the won back to back World Series. As a Canadian who loves the Blue Jays I couldn't believe who I saw sitting on the bench in front of Thunder Mountain. I approached him and talked baseball with him for a few minutes. He appeared to be with his grandkids. That was a big thrill for me.

I will admit that in recent time Radiator Springs Racers exceeded my expectations in Disneyland. I didn't think it would be that good.

In 1991 I was convinced the Hall of Presidents were all actors. I was 10 and swore to my mom that they were real. Small World was the first ride I ever went on too. I had never seen anything like that before and I loved it.

I guess in recent years finding the hard hidden mickeys always get me. Some of the obscure ones are hard to find but when you find them I get excited. Finding the homages to Mr. Toad in the park is always neat. The rope tied up in Splash Mountain was a nice one to find as is Mickey lying on a cloud in the final scene on Splash. Just amazing when you actually see it in person.

1. On our January 2013 trip, my son found $10 in Epcot on the ground.

2. When my daughter was 7 we were riding on the monorail and heard someone call her name and turned around and it was a classmate of hers and her family. She didn't know her friend was coming to WDW at the same time.

We've run into friends and whatnot several times. Always a huge surprise. Once, my son saw his friend in Le Cellier and when he pointed him out, I initially said, "Naw, that's just a kid that looks like Owen" and he kept insisting. I finally noted that Owen's mom and dad looked a lot like the parents of the Owen that lived in our neighborhood.

I should also note, that after contact with the other family was made, I asked where they were staying. Owen said, "some boring place", by which he meant the Boardwalk.
