Ever buy Something at home just because it reminds you of WDW?

I made Mickey pancakes for DS a month or so ago on a Saturday morning and he was like "are we going to Disney today!?!" sadly we weren't- won't make that mistake again

We just got done doing a mickey bathroom. From paint, shower curtain, and toothbrush holder. It's a smalll onsuite, but still cool to be in disney everyday. Also being a chef, I make disney inspired meals and name them after areas in the park or restaurants. ie, teriyaki strip steak with a grilled pineapple, garlic mashed yukon gold potatoes, and stir fried broccoli is called kona One the specials menu.

Every once in awhile I give in and get something that reminds me of Disney. But (and I'm not trying to be a one-upper or Debbie Downer here or anything), I have gotten good about stopping and saying "okay, this thing you are about to buy is [$25 or $50 or whatever]. Would you rather have it or would you rather put that money towards your trip?" It probably drives the people at Disney insane because I will actually go online and put $25 or $50 towards my trip like 10x a month, and each time they send me another invoice in the mail that says my new balance. But, it works for me and helps me get my trips paid off because it adds up pretty quickly.

that's a great idea- I kinda do the same, just take the cash and put it in my envelope- so far I have $98 for this month alone!

My kids look for "hidden Mickey's" EVERYWHERE! It's quite hysterical. Me, I'm a T-Shirt junkie. If I find one in my size and Disney related, it's probably coming home with me.

I like to get shower gels that have different "Disney" smells. The Orange Sapphire scent at Bath & Body Works smells like the orange groves in Soarin'. And Old Spice makes a mens' body wash called Komodo that smells like the giftshop in Norway.
