A friend and I were there for Wilma. We spend the day before at Universal and it was very hot. That night, we were at HHN and got soaked as the rains began. I got a few calls on my cell from WDW Dining because we had ressies for breakfast at Cinderella Castle, although I never got a clear answer on whether park would be open or closed.
We woke the next morning to the wind, rain and closed parks, but we were on the third floor of our condo (Westgate Lakes, off property) so all was well. By noon, the skies were sunny and we were walking into a nearly deserted MK. The weather was much cooler. We didn't find out about how extensive Wilma's destruction was until much, much later.
