Stitch is a special movie for me. It was one of the first, if not the first movie I went to the theaters to watch, and I should've been what 3, 4 tops! It was also the first VHS I got. Now I have it on DVD so the cycle is complete (untill they come around with holoprojection, that is).

Anyways, my first part is the fridge scene and the bike chase. Oh, and the introduction to Star Wars, with all the action figures! Never liked the tent parts, though... :lookaroun

ET other tid bits

The ET game is one of the most widespread and mass produced games for the Atari (the game system of choice back in the day), but it is one of the worst video games ever made. A good franchise can go a long way... but even longer if used properly (Kingdom Hearts).

ET is being considered as the next attraction to leave Universal Parks, beginning with the CA park, and later at the FL park.

My absolute favorite part is when ET is watching TV, and Elliot is in the classroom. The scene progresses with the freeing of the frogs, until ET finds "The Quiet Man", Elliot grabs the girl, steps on another student to be the same height as the girl, and plants one on her, just like the Duke. The John Williams score swells...

Ah-h-h-h, movie making at it's finest!

This was a MAJOR development in the story...we truly see that Elliot feels what ET is feeling at this part!!!

Great choice!!!

(Oh, and the "tent" seen still scares the bejeezus out of me when the dudes bust through the window...you know...the part with the little toy train)

What does everyone think about the added scene in the bathroom?

I personally like the idea of showing more interaction between Elliot and ET but it looks...too fake

Yeah, I agree, it looks like a cartoon or something...

And I heard once that they got all the extra ET Atari cartridges they were stuck with and buried in the desert!

And if Universal scraps ET, they only have BTTF, Jaws and the Wild West Stunt Show to grab my attention. They should know better: the massive advertisement campaign they had for the re-release of the movie, all this attraction drawn to the franchise and "Let's kill this dumb ride and replace it with a coaster!!"

Not a coaster, another movie simulator.

I mean really, soon Universal Studios will have BttF, Shrek, T2:3D, and Jimmy Neutron. I mean I understand they are a movie company, but come on... 4 movie screen driven attractions in one park, they are beating MK with 3 Dumbo rides.

I know some people are gonna hate me for saying this...
BttF needs work...the ride is just TOO ROUGH...let's put a great dark ride in with the same theme...or "E-ticket" attraction.

How awesome would a track ride like Peter Pan have been with Doloreans attached, and have an added capability to slightly rotate left and right, lean forward and back. That ride would be amazing.

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!!! :sohappy:

That would be the best attraction...and truly be a GREAT attraction to go along with a GREAT MOVIE (movie meaning all 3 as one)

NOOOOOO!!!! That's one of the only thing that draws me to Universal Studios!!!!

I used to be so facinated by the ET game whenever my brother played it.... of course I was 2 at the time!

The new scene is good, but, like it's been said, he looks too damn cartoony. Why go from one to the other. If you're going to redo him, redo him throughout the whole movie. Of course I'd still prefer the original over it, but hey, it's not as awkward looking. And the whole part where Eliot pours the coke on the phone ("throwing up") just annoys me, too. :hammer:
