Essential Gear...

Too funny. All in all, we really just need shoes (not even if your a barefooter)...the gear is just fun!

Except the fuel belt...that's just smart to stay hydrated.

Have a great run tomorrow.
Well, my local pretentious "trak shak" doesnt carry the amphipod brand anymore. That made me look at other solutions. Im happy top report that I have decided to not get a bigger water belt. Ill just keep my 2 bottles, and take a powerade bottle about 1/3 full of a 12 ounce. That will last me till I pass this park where I can throw away. Then I have my other 2 bottles for the rest of the trip.

Saved me $45.

I got the Polar RS100. Ill test tonight and try out first am on a 9.5 mile run. Yippie! :sohappy:

2 packets of GU too.

I rock a Garmin 405 when running outdoors. A 4 bottle fuelbelt for any run over 13 or so miles (between 5-13 I use 2 bottles). Just got a RoadID recently (held onto that gift certificate for way to friggin long). Other than that it's just a LARGE wristband for sweat (one of those huge honkin one basketball guys wear) and whatever running clothes get grabbed first. Oh yeah, and shoes. Usually Asics Gel Cumulus. Gone through I think 4 model years worth of those.

I made it 10 this weekend on 2 bottles and 1 swig left when done.

I wish I had kept my coupon from my last race for a RoadID bracelet. I want to get one... immediately.

I forgot to mention the roadID bracelet. I have an allergy to bee stings, which are a real threat when running outside, and a couple antibiotics, so I always have to make sure that if something happens to me, that the bracelet can do the talking if I cannot.
