Eros Tea

For all of you not in the know, the Eros tea served during High Tea at the Grand Floridian is some of the best tea served anywhere......I'm not kidding.....

For those of you who read the Dole Whip Posts, you're aware that the Dole Whip Float is, by far, my favorite edible goody in all of WDW. That being said, Eros is a CLOSE second.... Scary, huh??

Anyway, I just wanted to pass along some info I found into this week. Eros is made by a company in Canada called Tealeaves. They sell Eros (and a ton of other teas) on their website www.tealeaves.com . I ordered some this week (it hasn't come in yet), so I'll report back when I make my first cup.

Have a great corporate love-day weekend....

You may know, or you may not know.

The tea iteself is only part of the equation

You can take the best tea and boil the heck out of it in water that stinks of chemicals and minerals, and you will still have dishwater.

I happen to think Florida water tastes fine - for drinking. But to make coffee or tea with, not so much. Good thing WDW does not serve coffee anywhere :)

Thanks for the link, Dave. Like you, I am a huge fan of the Eros tea served at the Garden View Lounge at the GF, so I'll be placing my order for Eros tea shortly!

I think it's Monday - Friday, but I'm unsure. If you call the Grand Floridian, I'm sure that they'll give you the whole breakdown...plus, you can make reservations!!

Also, www.allearsnet.com has the GF high tea menu...
