I've been waiting for this game for a good two years now , since the concept art was leaked. I played a few demos of it at the New York ComicCon 2 weeks ago. It really is Epic. What I got to play definitely lived up to my expectations. I played three levels: the Fantasyland one, one outside the Haunted Mansion, and a side scrolling one with these gears (I think it was in a a clock tower can't remember). There was this level in a castle I saw someone playing too. Mickey really moves a little slow imo, it got a little annoying when I messed up and needed to back track but honestly the only problem I could think of while playing it. I found the coolest part of the demos was the ability to explore and do side missions, in Fantasyland you had the option to explore Small World in a side quest, very cool. I got to met Warren Spector too, So awesome.

The collector's edition has been up on amazon for about 2 months now. Well worth the extra 20 if you ask me, The toy it comes with is pretty large (it was on display next to the demo station).
For what its worth the Tron game demo was also a lot of fun, wasn't planning on getting that one right away till I played it :D

It really is a cool concept..In terms of Disney cartoons it is a real landmark to have Oswald and Mickey together. I am a big fan of the theme park aspect of the game but the fact it is telling a new story is very cool (in a Disney dork kinda of way) My hands up!

I'm really looking forward to this, seems like a fantastic game. I'll be glad to have something good for a change to play on my Wii. Lately I've mostly been using the Wii for the Netflix streaming.

Dang!! It's so funny how I change. I remember reading about this a long time ago when the first few concept photos were released and thinking, "How stupid." I remember reading about how everyone was so excited and couldn't wait for it and I was just thinking, "It looks like crap, but everyone's different." Now, after seeing the E3 video and a couple of interviews with the main man Warren, I can now say that I am excited for this game as well. He's very passionate about the Disney company and says that everything in the game like trash cans, light posts comes from something in Disney's past. That passion alone lets me know its gonna be, well Epic. So I'll be getting this sometime the week it comes out for sure, and I can't wait.

Glad you mentioned the size of the Mickey figurine. Now I'll definitely be getting the collector's edition.

Lately I've been surfing the net for Oswald merch. I'd love a reasonably-priced t-shirt with him on it (and by reasonably-priced, I DON'T mean the one with him wearing boxing gloves and that cost 40 dollars!!!) and maybe a good plush. Months ago I saw an Oswald plush at my local Disney store before it closed, but I passed it by. Do I regret it now. Someone sold one on ebay not long ago and got around 150 bucks for it. (Not that I'd sell mine, if I had one). I hope Disney makes some cool Oswald items soon. I'm really getting fond of Walt's long-lost "son".

This has been circulating around for months now, I'm surprised that just now someone posted something regarding this game on the forums. Being a teen that not only loves video games but everything Disney, this is going to be an epic win in my book. I really want this for Christmas. Oh, so badly.

Obscure detail to notice, but in one drawing we see Mickey in "Ostown", standing in front of two houses.

Those houses, at least outside, are pretty clearly Mickey and Minnie's houses from Toontown Fair.

Epic Mickey has been the subject of numerous threads for many months here. I've learned tons about the game from the members of this forum!

Do any of you remember Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour? THAT remains to be the best WDW themed game I've ever played. (Granted there aren't many, but still). I would love to see a reincarnation of that game.

Look it up if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Oh ya, I had that for the game boy color and playstation. Matter fact, I still have that for the playstation. It was ok, I think if they were to make something like it today it would be way better. But ya, I definitely remember that. :)
