Hello there everybody! Yesterday I did a quick run around Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom (Wanted to take a few last WDW rides before headin' off to Disneyland.) and since there wasn't much going on', I choose to take a bunch of artsy shots today. So before the pictures, let's get to the newsstuffs...

Magic Kingdom

-Crowds weren't too bad. Medium at best.

-The grooms' heads still aren't dissapearing in mansion. Everything else still looks good.

-It looks like some restaraunts have new Halloween themed drink cups. Nice!

Animal Kingdom

-Looked like just about everything was working on Everest. Only thing I noted not working is Waterfall B and the yet-to-be-really-fixed lighting in the fortress.

-Some new T-Shirts in Serka Zong Bazzar. The best one, and the only one I bought, is a T-shirt with the Shadow of the Yeti scene on the front, and the Expedition Everest logo on the back. Others include...
"Take a Hike" with snowy boot prints on the front.

A picture of a mine cart that says Expedition Everest on it, that says "That's how I Roll" around it. Might have been good had the train been on it, and not some random mine cart.

A nice kid's design with the Yeti on it that says "A Yeti ate my Homework."

-The Yak and Yeti is coming along rather well, and will look great I'm sure.

Ok, that's about it. Enjoy!

Alright, there you go. This will be the last normal Update until the October 1st EPCOT Update. (Though you can hardly call that normal! :D)

Now tomorrow morning I'm off to the grand state of California to gather thousands of photographs for my MASSIVE four-part Disneyland Update. Since I can't stop updating, I'll be sending LIVE Disneyland pictures straight to www.epcotservoupdate.blogspot.com ! Kind of like you'll be with me the whole way! That about wraps everything up, thanks for tuning in!

AUGH! I tried to resist, because it is 4 o'clock and I have GOT to get some work done today, but I was tempted by the B&W.

Great job. Very artsy. You were fortunate to have a beautiful day. I "borrowed" #17 for my wallpaper--it is a better shot, in my opinion, than #16 which you suggested for papering walls.

Thanks!

(now I have got to get out of here and do some work!)

(5 more days til I am at WDW!) :sohappy:

Great shots!!! I love the clouds in many of the pictures for they photos almost looked photo shopped....for example one of the last photos looks like Mt. Everest exploded bc of the huge fluffy cloud. Have fun in DL!!!! It's the original (that's what everyone kept telling me).

Ok what is a woman doing wearing a tiara on an Expedition to Everest! (Photo#38)

And if I had not read your quote on the photo of the new Everest t-shirt I would have thought that was the best picture I have ever seen of the Yeti shadow scene. I have to get that shirt...way cool.

As always thanks fror the update and pictures...looking forward to the Original (aka Disneyland)

loved the pictures, especially the COLOR pics. PULEEEEEZ don't use the B&W so much in the future though. B&W works great with simple contours and for portrait shots.. but it really detracts from complex shots of Disney Color. The only picture worthy of B&W was the tilted HM picture.

Again, great pics, but you should always use color. You can change them to B&W later in a photo editing program if the effect works once you see it. You take great pictures, so I am basically begging you. ;o)

Yes, you got it. You see, I have like 18,000 pictures of all the Everest things there, and thought I should get some diffrent shots.

Thanks for the kind words everybody!

PLEASE review the Blue Bayou for us! :D
Sorry, pickey eater with a cheap budget. I'd love to eat there though. Just can't pay SO much money for something I won't enjoy eating,
:hammer:

Agreed 100%. The general rule for taking pictures is, "if you don't know why you're taking a picture in black and white besides 'for the sake of b/w', then you should take the picture in color."

Also, remember that while you can easily convert a color picture to b/w, you can't convert a b/w picture to color!

Great pictures and commentary, as usual though! Thanks for the update!!!!
