EpcotServo's Jan. 2nd EPCOT Update: Another year, another Update.

Helloooo and happy new year everyone! Heard it was going to be cold today, so I figured I'd do a quick run around EPCOT. Try out my fancy new WDI Submarine Voyage coat......


Little did I know that "cold" meant "coldest it's ever been in Florida!"

Well, still better than hot, I say. Anyways, on to the Update!

EPCOT

-First up, the Yourfacemotron was working today at Spaceship Earth, and I liked it! It worked well, and made the ending MUCH better for me.

-It was pretty crowded, everything having big waits.

-The Wand has been taken down!

Yes I love them updates!!...VERY FUNNY! Love the sun god one and Pay no attention to the palm trees lines!! Great job! Look forward to many more to come!!

EpcotServo...it's constantly fluctuating throughout the 50 degree mark here in Lake Mary. One more week in the sunshine state till I have to go back to reality :lookaroun I'm chomping at the bit to go to Epcot on monday and ride SSE and get me some retro merchandise. Where is that Alien stuff? Is that at Epcot? I'm a huge Alien fan and I've never seen that. Thanks again for the update!

Japan! The whole set was $90. But they had the little mystery boxes for about $6. (I don't think you can get the Power Loader in those.)

That definitely looked like the same crisp cold, windy day I was having in Northern VA. Can't believe it got that cold!

Took my ;aptop out onto my deeck so I could get the "you are there" effect!

39 degrees, wind chills in the teens ... just like Florida! :lol:

We leave in 16 days ... Hope it warms up (a bit) by then.

Nice pics! I'd take 40 degrees during the day or even the low of 29 degrees I read somewhere. My thermometer on the computer reads 8 degrees right now, and I'm sure it'll get colder. A chilly day in WDW would be way better than my freezing day in my Pennsylvania wasteland of snow.

yeah, I noticed the Alien stuff the other day as well, it hadn't been there 2 weeks before so it must have just come in.

I'm more interested in the Final Fantasy VII Advent Children statues depicting Cloud fighting Sephiroth flying through the air, but at $250 for each side I think I'll pass

Great update to start 2008 EpcotServo! Never thought I'd hear "freezing" associated with Epcot and WDW though. Great shots with the sun in them too. Keep it up for this year EpcotServo!

Just a quick note, though...... this is not the first bitter cold January in Orlando in recent memory. I did the 2006 Disney Half Marathon (January 7th, I think) and the start time temperature was 35 degrees!

Just a quick note, though...... this is not the first bitter cold January in Orlando in recent memory. I did the 2006 Disney Half Marathon (January 7th, I think) and the start time temperature was 35 degrees!

That's funny, because I ran the half marathon the day before (on the 6th) and it was like 70º and 85% humidity at start time!!
