I bet that they have plenty of Disney songs in their arsenal...

... But do they have attraction songs?? Who will dare to sing the F! theme???

And will they have extinct attraction songs like Tomorrow's Child?

I'm a staunch defender of no photography before opening, but there was no sign indicating that non-flash Photography was NOT allowed, nor did the announcement beforehand say anything about no Photography (Of the non-flash Kind) being prohibited. Even though other people were, I still refrained from taking pictures DURING the show, to avoid spoiling the attraction or portraying any of the actors/contestants in a bad light.

I read over at All Ears from Jack Spence that during his performance an announcement was made that no video or flash photography was allowed then another announcement was made that it was a trial run an no photography was allowed.

Well that was a different show. At the show I attended, I heard nothing against it. And again, I took NO pictures during the show.

You'll notice that Jack Spence over at All Ears also posted pictures of the theater before the show, just as I did.

I've made a thousand crusades against leaked photography and video, this isn't an issue. If I believed it to be sesnitive or prohibited in any way, or had other pictures of the theater not been available at a few other sites, I wouldn't have posted it. Trust me.

No complaints here I just know typically during previews and sometimes even after official opening of the shows Disney prohibits all video and photography. It is a YMMV situation right now as it depends on if the CM remembers to give that spiel or not.

Great updates though, keep them up.

Speaking of Photos, I forgot to mention a PhotoPass Photographer is stationed at the back of the house taking your pictures during the show, if you're up on stage.

well, for a fan boy that was against this attraction to admit it was "alright" can be a win. I do understand how crowd reaction can effect the show also. I've seen four shows, three the crouwd where into it...not just the performances but the jordan soarks video also...one they wheren't and the vibe of the show was different. overall, I still think it has to do with talent and the finale is the best show to see.

It's going to be interesting to see how this show works once it goes "live". Sounds like a lot is going to be riding on the quality of performers who tryout for the show. ie. Will a lack of good performers ruin the show for the guests, and how much repeatability will it have? My concern would be that producing a show like this, to the same quality level as the real show might be difficult at this level and under such tight deadlines on a daily basis. I also wonder how high of an expectation people have for seeing this. Will there be comparisons to the real show, and if so, will people enjoy this one or be disappointed if it doesn't have the same calibre of talent? Only time will tell I guess.

Okay, gotta speak. Thanks for the photos Servo. Always awesome! But, yet again, I remain firm in my belief that this show is a bad idea... I expect it will get rather old rather quick, and with a final show time during F!, don't expect anyone but die-hards to show up.... And maybe some contestants won't show either. LOL.

True, but how many people going for their first time (and even semi-regulars, for that matter) will skip what they hear is such an amazing must-see show for what they hear is "good"? But I do think that people who go all the time will definitely go to AIE. But still, that's a LARGE number of people at F!

But wasn't this one of the thoughts on why F! was getting cut to 2 nights a week? To avoid creating such a tough decision ; ) and to get people to attend the AI finale? Or has management already heard enough complaints about the limited F! shows they restored the full schedule and I missed the memo....

Just jumping in to say that I loved that there were Coke cups on the judges table. Very Idol like. I will be down in May but will most likely skip, as my 5, 4 and 9 month old would make the show much worse than the singing....

The Jan 14th 2pm show did NOT BAN all photography. Non-flash photos were permitted. I did take some in performance, but I have not posted any, yet.
