Hello! Time for another EpcotServo update! On Febuary 8th, I went to Epcot and took alot of pictures! In fact, this update features more pictures then my last few! So sit back and get ready for a big one, it's updatetime!©

Don't care for updatetime? Yea, I know, not so good... sorry.

News--------
-Mission: SPACE has retired the flimsy paper Launch Tickets, and are now using sturdy plastic tickets. Bout' time! I hated having to hold the dirty ripped up paper tickets just to get on one of my favorite rides!

-Not really new news, but Innoventions Cast Members have new coustumes.

-WDI and construction people were busy at work on the old Innoventions sign and inside the SSE post-show.

-Spaceship Earth is in pretty good shape.

-The Seas with Nemo and Friends seems to be holding up pretty well, though the Seagulls don't look as shiny as they did on day one. Hope they age well.

-They added a wall to block the former Seabase Alpha (I hate just saying Seabase.) from the loading area. Much better!

-They replaced the lighting at HISTA with LED lighting. It's much better and brighter. Makes the show look much better too!

-Test Track added a screen and flashing "Test Photo Complete" sign, though it wasn't on, so it kind of defeated the purpose of having it the first place.

-Magic Kingdom's 35th birthday is just now getting merchindise, though it's kind of late if you ask me. They include statues, posters and frames, and can be found in Art of Disney. So I guess we'll get Epcot's 25th stuff same time next year!

That just about wraps up the news, now on the photos! Enjoy!

Not sure if I would any of that lemon aid...need to have a CM touch them up with some yellow paint or something. Not looking to fresh there.

Actually, the lemons look about that way when they come off the tree. They're not er..."over-ripe" quite yet.

Thanks for the great pictures of Living with the Land! Good to see the greenhouses are doing well. Looks like the new group gave the tomato tree one heck of a haircut. Also, from the tomato tree picture, it looks like the snake gourds went to the "big greenhouse in the sky." :D (they were a REALLY messy crop to deal with) Thanks!

1. Thanks for the update! I'm confused about your HISTA lighting comment. Do you mean during the show?

2. Also, you gotta love Disney in Feb. It's my second favorite month to visit (after early May).

3. Whenever someone says Disney needs a 5th gate, please post pic #7 in a reply... I've been there only a handful of days when it was like this, but it feels great, doesn't it!?

I love your updates and your photos (especially the artsy ones!) so much! Always a treat. Thanks so much for sharing.

And I *really* hope it doesn't take that long to get Epcot 25th Anniversary merchandice!

Wow! Great photos - thanks for sharing.

Hmmm....lack of crowds + Dream Squad = better odds of being tapped for a prize (especially the Castle Suite!)?

Thanks for all the comments and yes, it's new LED lighting for the show. Like when the Inventor of the year award sign lights up, the red lighting lights up the back of the theatre? There was always lighting there to do that kind of thing during the show, but it got so old ypu could barely see it. Now that it's LED it's bright and really makes the show feel newer. As to the crowds, it did get crowded in mid-afternoon, but It's hard to tell because I always try and avoid the crowds.

It actully seems to be drawing a crowd since they've switched to show times. (It used to play every few minutes.)

Wonderful pics! :sohappy:

I can't believe how empty Soarin' was, and the rest of the park for that matter. Looks like small windows of the "low season" still remain!

Thanx for posting!!

Soarin' queue

The lines were much longer later in the morning and throughout the day. I sat at the exit of Soarin' for almost an hour with my 3 year old while she took a nap in the afternoon. There was a steady stream of smiling faces walking by.

Actually, all of the parks were more crowded than I expected for this week. Especially yesterday (Friday). It seemed like all of the cheerleaders were in the Magic Kingdom yesterday. And, they were not as bad (behavior-wise) as many people have warned.

I am home now in the cold weather and I already miss WDW.
