Hey everyone! Just got back from a day at the parks, and I bring you back a small Update. Not much going on today, other then RAIN....and CROWDS.

MGM

-Lots of tarps up everywhere.

-the Earful Tower has been re-painted with the new name. Nothing to write home about.

-They've added two large trees infront of Toy Story Mania, and they look great. Also, the Fireworks tower (the one with the Pirates ad)

EPCOT

-Everything was working pretty fine on Spaceship Earth. The triangles were still not working and one speaker on descent was going in and out.

-Pretty nice, as we were checking the Soarin' line for the last time around closing to see if it got any shorter, a nice Cast Member actully gave us Fastpasses some guests didn't use, for no reason! A big thank you to Nina at Soarin'!

OK, that's about it.

Another nice update thanks. It never fails to put a smile to my face when I see a current pic of SSE w/o you know what on it. Many years from now I shall look back & wonder how we ever survived "those years".

Please don't steal a Small World doll, because that could lead to you getting in trouble & then we wouldn't have these awesome pic reports!

Thanks for the update!

Looks like you got to Epcot close to the same we did, seeing as it looks like it just stopped raining when your heading in. Did you by chance see the accident on World Drive? Wasn't major, but they had a couple lanes closed going southbound. A Disney bus was facing northbound on that side and had it's back right tire completely submerged in the median...so not exactly sure what happened there. We tend not to be gawkers, so we could only glance as we drove by.

I too noticed the speaker on the decent cutting in and out, in fact, we slowed down by it, and was quite distracting. Your talking about the one just after the lightning bolt scene right?

Me personally, I enjoyed the new additions, and think the decent looks better, even though the tiles aren't working yet. The only thing, is because of the last thread that got closed, when we got to the smokestacks, all I could think about was that stupid argument...I'll just leave it at that as to try and avoid bringing that mayhem into here. :zipit:

Nice report. Always great to see what's happening at The World. One thing that struck me is the number of "reasonable dreams" banners that have sprung up everywhere. They're everywhere-and I'm thinking they may have overdone it a little bit! Ah well, at least they're blue instead of pink and purple. :o

Wow. Awesome pics. I love it how I am so far away from the magic but I can feel so close by seeing current photos...THANKS!!:)

Spaceship Earth looks great without the wand. I know it was for the celebration but what ever possessed Disney to put that on it? It was there for so long! When we were there in August they were starting to take it down. Looks better now. :sohappy:

The idea with the banners and all other decorations, I think after the event is over they put them up for auction and the money goes to charity, at least thats what they did with alot of the deco's from the celabration in 2000.
