Epcot's UK missing something?

The U.K., is unique in it's difference, I like it just the way it is.

I agree. The UK is one of my favorite pavilions just because it feels so much like a little British village and doesn't have some huge crazy landmark. I feel Germany and the Norway are much the same in that they really are just general representations of the country, not a replica of some city or landmark.

For myself, I think the U.K. is fine like it is. When you think about it, its not the only pavilion with no real focal point. I know Germany has the castle, but it isn't something that really stands out from a distance. Norway doesn't really have a tall structure that says "Here I am, I'm Norway" either.

I think Big Ben was scraped because it would look too much like the campanile in Italy from a distance, especially if it was lit up at night for Illuminations.

Well, I would say that the stave church is pretty prominent. It's not huge, though it is certainly the focus of the Norway pavilion.
