I’ve listened to a few of the tracks so far. I don’t understand why Disney can never just release the soundtrack “as is” meaning the way it’s heard in the park. First thing I noticed is all the Welcomes are missing. Then Heartbeat Symphony sounds different and doesn’t include the part that I assume is a conductor tapping the podium. The songs also seem to come to a full stop and don’t flow into the next song as smooth as it does during the show. I know some people don’t like the narration but I’ve gotten so used to it that way, that it’s weird to hear it without. Harmonious did the same thing if I remember correcting, removing the narration. I’d even be ok if they released it the way they had a Fantasmic Album forever ago that had a play through of the show twice. Once with everything, a second time just instrumental.

Yes, all the Welcomes are missing, but the conductor tapping the podium is there, it's towards the end of Welcome (1:29). But yes I'd also like the source audio as it were, the actual show as well as the soundtrack of the individual songs.

Anyone else feel that the amount of dialogue that was released with this album is better than the true show track? It still has the opening and closing line narration, but nothing in the middle that I can tell.
They should make some alterations and bring the show closer to the album release. There is simply too much exposition during the performance.

Any guesses why they cut the drum and chant intro? Some type of copyright? That is the major issue I have with the release. I am fine with the lack of narration except I don’t understand why they started the narration again after Loss.

I know we should be thankful they released it at all especially the post show songs. But overall it’s sloppy. Why not just release the actual show version?

Drums are pre-show and they didn't release any preshow. Some of the narration is during cross-mixed sections of the show and may be difficult to reproduce in an album with tracks. Think about the narration thst starts during the epcot anthem snip and continues into one of these songs - how would they include that?

The "welcome"s seem to be tracked differently (and maybe directionally?) live, so that may explain the absence there.

Obviously Disney botched this release since all of the tracks aren’t available everywhere as they should be. I can personally attest that if you purchase the album from Apple Music, you get all 13 cues.

Also bummed that they haven’t found a way to release the original Epcot Anthem which served as the inspiration for much of the underscore. How difficult can it be to get that one piece of music released?!

This and that for some reason last year Wondrous Journeys got released on YouTube then got taken down, only to be added back with all other streaming services. Who ever is in charge of the music releases at the parks is doing a bad job.
