Make Future World about the future. In looking to the future, we shouldn't look to the past. So the idea should not be to "restore" all pavilions to their 1980s glory. The idea should be to innovate. I also reject character tie-ins. Wall-E is cool, and if there was a Disney character suited for Epcot, he's it, but still I want to see the best representation of the future Imagineers can create, not one that tries to mimic something from a movie.
- Make Nemo much less prominent in The Seas. Crush can stay. Don't just restore Seabase Alpha, add some new ideas.
- Put some new agricultural technology into The Land. Discuss organic vs. genetic modification. Talk about growing plants not just for food but for energy in the form of ethanol or biodiesel. How about plants with pharmaceutical uses?
- New Imagination ride, but still the same concept with Figment. Dreamfinder optional, as long as it's good. But the really big change should be to redo Image Works. Don't just update the old gags, go back to the drawing board and design some interactive creativity exhibits that we've never imagined before.
- Close Universe of Energy. I really like the dinosaurs but it isn't the future. Replace it with some new pavilion with some future theme.
- Retheme Mission: Space at the least. Going to Mars is just not ambitious enough. The mission is really the same one as in 1969: launch on a rocket, wear a spacesuit. Only the destination has changed. We should be thinking about going to Europa or Alpha Centauri.
- Replace Test Track. There is little to no future message there. A transportation-themed pavilion is appropriate, but focus on public transit or alternative energy based transportation.
- Put a different ride inside the golf ball. I guess a lot of people will be upset by that, but it isn't about the future. How about delve into the concept of "Spaceship Earth"? We are stuck on this ride, and we need to make sure our "life support systems" keep functioning. Make a ride themed around how the whole Earth is a complex system and keeping all the parts working in harmony is important, and how going into the future we are going to do better about that.
