Ok so let's face it, the pavilions could use some sponsorship. I ask you if you were to re do all the sponsors in Epcot, how would you do them?

Here's mine:
Universe Of Energy- Presented by Hess
Wonders Of Life- Presented by State Farm
Mission: SPACE- Presented by Apple
Test Track- Presented by Ford (i still like GM here however)
Imagination- Presented by Crayola
The Land- Presented by Nabisco
The Seas With Nemo And Friends- Presented by ____________ (I need help here United Technologies was soooo good)
Spaceship Earth- Presented by Verizon

So what would you do?

You may be getting a new sponsor in the Imagination! Pavilion as I type this, or at least losing one. According to the news on this very site, it looks like all of the Kodak stuff is being removed from the attraction and from the park maps and signs.

Only problem is none of the those companies are interested. It's very difficult to recruit big money sponsorships to the park - they have a full time department trying to secure these deals, and look how few deals have been done over the years.

I'd like to see Verizon take over sponsorship of Spaceship Earth so it could return to it's original focus of communication.

As for the rest of the pavilions...

Mission: SPACE Presented by HP
Test Track Presented by General Motors
Universe of Energy Presented by Hess
Tron Presented by Microsoft
Imagination! Presented by Hasbro
The Land Presented by Kelloggs
The Seas with Nemo and Friends...no sponsor

Test Track and Mission: SPACE are fine with their current sponsors. UoE makes sense with Hess. Tron is a new attraction to replace WoL and Microsoft would fit perfectly as the sponsor. Imagination I think would work great with Hasbro considering a toy company strives to helps kids use their imagination. The Land I put Kelloggs because I believe they already have a deal with Disney for gummies and such. Nemo I don't think needs a sponsor. It's fine the way it is and seems to be running well without any extra funding.

GE will never be a sponsor at Disney again considering they own our biggest rival, Universal.

Test Track, Mission: Space and Spaceship Earth are just fine with their current sponsors (GM, HP and Siemens, respectively).

But I do agree that Hess would make a good sponsor for Universe of Energy.

And I also kinda like the idea of Apple sponsoring Imagination and Kellogg's sponsoring The Land.

As for The Seas with Nemo and Friends, maybe Dasani Water could sponsor it, since it's the primary brand of bottled water that gets served at WDW's restaurants and snack stands.

Getting slightly off-topic, there are some attractions at the other WDW parks that could use sponsors as well. For example:

-It's a Small World--Sylvania (which already now sponsors DL's version of Small World)
-Country Bear Jamboree--Dixie (which is also the current sponsor of DL's Hungry Bear Restaurant)
-Carousel of Progress--Apple, maybe?

Besides, Sponsorships are a VERY good thing for Disney parks and attractions, since the sponsors fund half of the money that is used to operate and maintain the attractions, with Disney funding the other half.

And sponsorships often lead to certain attractions being better-maintained and recieving better, more frequent upkeep. (For example: if Country Bears had a sponsor again, they'll probably end up having more money to do the Xmas and Vacation show overlays and be even more willing to do them.)

Even Walt himself understood the value of sponsorships and took them as a golden opportunity to raise much-needed capital for improving Disneyland. :)
