Epcot Plan of Action?

Hello, WDWmagic!

Looking to take a trip to Disney in the first week of August.Doing this, we will be in Epcot for the first time since 2001. Seeing that Soaring, and Test Track weren't open, then...What should we get fast passes for first? We were planning on getting to the park at opening (Maybe with EMH) and going to get a Fast past for something first, before we ride.

I was thinking get the FPs for Soaring first, and then wait in line for Test? Or do you recomend something different.

Thanks, everyone!

Here's our routine that usually works pretty well.

Be there for the rope drop.

Most able-bodied person takes all of the tickets and not-quite-runs to Soarin' for fastpasses.

Everyone else walks (with stollers etc.) to Test Track and waits for the Soarin' person. Ride Test Track on the standby line.

Ride or sit out Mission Space by standby line.

Ride Soarin' using fastpasses. Also hit Living with the Land.

Hit Living Seas with Nemo to save back-tracking later.

Innoventions East & West.

(We usually try to save UoE for the start of the daily thunderstorm. It eats up about 45 minutes and the rain is over for the most part when you exit.)

Hit Immagination if we're in the mood. Play in the jumping water fountain.

Head to our resort for a swim, meal, break.

PM- Spaceship Earth. Get fastpass for anything we want to or can repeat later in the evening.

World Showcase- No particular order.

Illuminations.

Ride Soarin' then grab a FP for Soarin' as you leave and head over to TT

Ditto.

Only if you want to ride it a 2nd time of course. Once is enough for me.

Oooh, I LOVED Soarin'. I could've kept riding it. When we went in January, there was a mad dash at the rope drop to Soarin' on our first day. On our second day at EPCOT, we went to TT first at rope drop - not such the mad dash that way. Yes, it was January, but I would think it's all relative.

P.S. I thought the Green M:S was pretty boring. A little jiggling and that was about the most of a thrill.
