I was also at MK yesterday. Rode Pirates with no Audio track. That was weird but yet peaceful. Hung around for part of the window naming dedication also. We arrived at the parking lot around 11:30 and not even a quarter of the lot was full...

The characters on the mural look better now that Bruce is done... I wonder if there's more to come? The style looked weird to me at first, but they're actually pretty neat. Do they remind anyone else of the opening credits of Monsters, Inc.? No? Ok...

We caught the beginning of the Dedication and did not see the curtain drop for the name but was told it was for a V.P. that was retiring. Facing the Main Street Cinema, it is on the Row of windows to the left of the Cinema.
Probably a special feeling to know that you will be immortalized up there with the names of all the original designers of the park and resort.

The security tables were at that area when we were there last month, and later when we left there were back where they have been. I don't know how often they do that, but it does get to confuse everybody so I guess that was the idea.

I've encountered security at the monorail station in the morning most every trip.

I think it's technically faster than the per-gate checks, so they do that there for peak periods, then switch over when crowds die down. It corresponds to crowd-influx patterns that have been researched in the past. (More arrive in the morning, fewer in the afternoon).

Interesting... I was wondering if there was some new security pattern especially since it was before the entrance to the Monorail. I have just never seen that before.
