Epcot has a new mini tipboard

While walking through the park today, I noticed a new addition. On the Mission: Space side of Innoventions (near the east breezeway), there is a large screen that not only shows the current stand-by times of every attraction in the park but what time the Fastpass return currently is. I have no idea how long this has been in the park but it seemed really weird where it was.

I saw this Today as well, and thought it was great. It's a lot easier to see from a distance than the current tipboard.

I believe yesterday was its first day (either that or I somehow missed it on Thursday...). It looks temporary, so it might just be around to help with the holiday crowds.

It seems odd to have another tip board so close to the main one for Epcot, but I'm all for multiple tip boards all over the parks. I remember the good ole days when Tomorrowland had their own tip board

I really think all the parks should have tipboards throughout the parks at strategic areas.

I would think this is to cut down on the "I walked all the way to the Land for nothing!" complaints. You can see from a distance what's up at Test Track, but Soarin' is impossible to see unless you're less than 10 feet away.

Good point. I never thought of that.

This would be very useful for that purpose alone.

I disagree. All you need to do is look at the strollers. If they are lined up all the way down the hill in front of the Land and onto the walkway to Inoventions, then don't bother going.:lol: I can't imagine how bad it will be in the Land for the Christmas holiday.

Thats Energy side, facing Test Track and Mission: Space

Umm... I think your geography is sorta right

But, to the direct left in the pic is the breezeway and if you pan to the right you'd see the Energy coffee cart, no?

Looks rather temporary... But I think it's a great idea. Maybe when Test Track is broken down, they have a screen that says, "Test Track is closed." That would make things easier on the CM's having to stand outside. :lol:

Personally, I hope it's a test for more boards and putting the FP return times up on the existing boards!
