EPCOT fountain

YEAH!!! It could actually be like the video-projection LCD globe at Illuminations: ROE. It would be this cool, light-up "thing" staring in your face, with all video LCD projections of all the "rides" at Epcot and maybe some fireworks too... And every now and then Figment pops up, and all cool, wacky, patterns and shapes and colors. Even set it to a beat (music!) It could be like the "sombrero" scene from The Three Caballeros!
Aren`t you getting a bit carried away here?
Sounds like someone who should be working at Imagineering!:D

Hey - Epcot is a "colorful" place, and it deserves a colorful "sign"! A "high-tech" sign to be more like it! :animwink: ;)

I liked the fountain, but it was looking pretty rough at the end. I believe it was made of plexiglass and like all plastic in the hot, year round Florida sun it aged. The plastic had tiny spiderweb cracks all over it and a cloudy dullness. I think I'm remembering that fountain! Speaking of fountains, what are they gonna do with it, it looks kinda stupid now.

Oh but at least the tombstones will be tombstones forever...(where is that smiley for sarcasim anyway? )

I am troubled though - I hear all of the comments on updating EPCOT, yet the entry looks like a very large graveyard? What's up with that? :veryconfu

Agreed. Like a dumb platform sitting purposeless in the sun. When I was there, they were using it as a base for some 100 YOM Sorcerer Mickey topiary. Little seasonal events... And the graveyard... *moan* What they should have done is place all the little pictures on the walls, right and left, in the main entrance area. They shouldn't have built entirely new structures to hold them.... :animwink:

Thanks for that info. I was there in August and was very dissapointed to not get wet on that bridge. It was a favorite thing of mine to do. I was wondering since then why they would stop splashing everyone. I'm glad it's at least for a good reason.:) :)
