I suppose the best way I can describe it is it felt like a fireworks show, when it should have felt like a fireworks spectacular.

more thoughts....it like putting a bunch of clips of songs and putting the mode to "random", and didn't really focus on any one theme for more than a few seconds in several parts, why not make them longer?

Epcot Forever in a nutshell

It's no Reflections of Earth (which it was never meant to be, I know), but it's a solid show.

Just couldn't resist throwing in some non-Epcot IP at the end. Rather disappointing that that was the ending theme.

More hot takes - the kites are pretty cool, especially the flaming ones. Using the torches during the Tapestry of Nations section was a nice touch as well. I do miss the fountain barges; the lagoon surface is just a bit too empty, especially after RoE. But the music for the first 10 minutes, when it's pure Epcot, is definitely the star. Not as powerful as the score for RoE, but a certainly a nice trip down memory lane.

I do like the pre-show music, and so far, the post-show music too.

Disney got scared after they saw that people would demand Epcot Forever to become the permanent new show instead of HarmonioUS, so they added something they will dislike!

They said EF was going to include Future, so Whole New World didn't shock me. Prob a better IP choice than anything else.


LOVED Golden Dream, TON ending verse, a nod to We've just Begun TO Dream, Fire Kites! It wasn't too windy! Torches lit up during TON, Palivion lights on till the end I think?

With this, HAE, and ROL, Disney is advancing the “art” of using new tech to create disjointed nighttime entertainment.

Re: HarmoniUS, I’m much more concerned about the potential for a “greatest hits” clip show than the IP itself. It’s the biggest problem with World of Color at DCA, and the #1 element the Christmas and Halloween versions fixed by including a loose story. We’ll see how it turns out.

Meanwhile, I’m not making a special trip to Florida to see Epcot Forever.

I might be in the minority here, I did not like it.

It was not an improvement over ROE. It was not grand. What was that Aladdin part? It was weak. The kids announcement?

The holiday tag by itself would perform better.

It was a mess. These past few shows WDW has produced have been messy.
