Epcot Forever is forcasted to be one of those soundtracks

Lands of Wonder, thanks for the clip. The music gives me hope they are not stopping my beloved Illuminations and replacing it with a crap show--looking at you Magic Kingdom.

So is this throwback show, with its throwback music to pavilions and attractions long gone - and terribly missed by older Epcot fans (like myself) - going to be the way Disney tries to transition Epcot in our minds to its new look and its new mission?

Is Epcot Forever a mental palate-cleanser, a scoop of sensory sorbet for us older fans who still lament the loss of Epcot's original attractions?

Like, "Want Journey Into Imagination, circa 1985? Here, have this 'Magic Journeys' snippet! Miss Horizons? Enjoy 'Tomorrow's Child!' World of Motion? Well, 'It's Fun to Be Free!' Now, stop whining about how we're overwriting your youthful memories, take one last walk in the past, get it all out of your system (don't forget to buy the soundtrack!), then go enjoy 'Ratatouille,' 'Mary Poppins,' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' all thoughtfully woven into the tapestry of New Epcot."

Trying to be open-minded and not cynical, but it seems like a ploy to me!

Yes, but so what? ;)

Why do I feel they are more focused on Kites for this rather than Pyro....

Was there tonight, girl in front of me summed it up pretty well...it’s happily ever after without a castle...fireworks were very good, but the soundtrack is sung by the Disney bop crew...so it sounds like a Disney channel movie, that’s where it lost me...and it’s about 3 minutes shorter.

Anyone else think that show sucked? maybe it didn't translate to camera but has interim written all over it.

Highlight being the firework kites flying around to Tapestry of Nations.. talk about twisting the knife.

The rest being nostalgia, inferior versions of songs that I gladly listen to all the time anyway.

That merch tho! 👌

I watched the video this morning. It was okay, but not nearly as moving as Illuminations. If I were at Epcot, I'm sure I would go to see it. Yet, I don't think I would go home raving about how great it was nor do I see myself going out of my way to see it multiple times.

I just watched this during my lunch.

I honestly think it is amazing. It brings back old Epcot, current, and comes with the hope of tomorrow's "Whole New World". I love the message and the feels were on par.

This I got to say is very well done.
