Hi, all.

What are the dates for the Flower and Garden festival at EPCOT next year? (2003).

Is it still in April, around Easter?

Heading for the great escape.
We usually visit at this time of year. The only good thing is that luggage restrictions prevent SWMBO from buying all those things that " wouldnt that look nice in" .

Oh its not that difficult:)

She Who Must Be Obeyed.

My dear lady wife, whos name tag at work has her position as rottweiler, for the way she keeps the Dr s in check. And Im not foolish enough to argue with that.:)

ROFLMAO!
I knew it was the wife but couldn´t figure out what it meant. Most people refer to her as "DW", but this one is waaaay better, and of course, the most real one! :animwink:

hey there Maria & Kingdom, we are kinda planning a bit of a WDWMagic Meet & Greet in the 3-4 week of May. We have tentatively picked out the PO Riverside as the resort of choice. If you want to follow along on the thread, we started it is called All Star Resorts under trip planing category. Would love to get more people involved. Right now it looks like there will be at least 3-4 of us going including myself. Would love to have you along!! Belle

That seems a bit later than in previouse years - we've usually caught the beginning of the show and our last date of visiting WDW is around the 24th of April.

I was thinking like the 18th19th-ish to at least the 26th at earliest. Some of the decision as to when we will go will depend on who among my friends is going to go also. I definitely want to spend my birthday at Disney somewhere.
As far as POR Gotta love that resort!!!! Do you have a particular area that you stay in?? I Know Cymbaldiva isnt crazy about them but I just love the Mansions. I have stayed at Parterre Place twice now, the last time with a Water View OH MY!!! Mom was VERY impressed with her location with that. Definitely have some breakfast at Boatwright's for me!!! :slurp: :slurp: :slurp:
Ill be there soon enough!! Belle

We have stayed here qute a few times. We usually stay in the Bayou rooms in either building 14 or 18. My Mom likes to be close to the food court and the bus stop. We have stayed in the Deluxes , but Mom always wants to come back the Dixie (I hate calling it POR) I really love staying there at Christmas time with the decorations. I like the decorations at the WL a lot too. Do you do the buffet breakfast or do you order off the menu? I have done both and I think I like ordering off the menu better. We are staying in a water view room, we have yet to stay in the Mansion rooms. I usually stay where Mom wants to stay when she goes with us. My eldest is bugging me to stay at the GF again.:hammer: she drives me crazy!!

OK I give..what buffet?? I know Boatwright's and I know about the food court. Where is there a Buffet? For a while Boatwright's had an all you care to eat skillet, which I have ordered and it was an excellent deal, but I could NEVER finish it. On my last two trips they eliminated the skillets, but still had a great A la Carte menu. Aaaaahhhh just thinking about the blueberry pancakes and the home fries.........What a great memory. Please help me out here...am I just missing something really big?? Belle

They had a breakfast buffet in the Lounge(River Roost) area. You had to walk up the steps to get to it. Now that I think of it, I remember them saying that they were going to get rid of it to make room for extra tables because it was so hard to get a breakfast ressie there. I remember now that they did not have it for my last stay there in 98'. Sorry for the confusion.....duh Pam!
